Madrid prepares for Christmas and the Puerta de Alcalá becomes the epicentre of the city’s most exclusive celebrations. Ramses District, a leading hospitality and lifestyle group, invites you to enjoy unforgettable celebrations at its four iconic venues: Ramses, Flamenco de Leones, Lady Bongo and Patio de Leones, where gastronomy, music and art come together to welcome Christmas and the New Year with elegance, flavour and spectacle.
Opposite the famous Puerta de Alcalá, Ramses offers a New Year’s Eve experience designed for lovers of haute cuisine, with a range of menu options for both 24th and 31st December dinners. Its menu celebrates the ingredients and gastronomic precision with creations such as “txangurro” cream with boletus air, Balfegó tuna tataki with a veil of sour teriyaki, and grilled scarlet prawns with coral mayonnaise. The main courses, sea bass with smoked carrot purée and Chateaubriand of Rubia Gallega beef with freshly grated truffle. To finish, New Year’s cake paired with Perrier-Jouët Champagne, toasting with views of one of Madrid’s most iconic landmarks.
At Flamenco de Leones, the excitement of the tablao revives the spirit of the old Cafés Cantantes with a first-class flamenco show accompanied by a deeply Spanish gastronomic offering. Here you can eat, drink and feel Spain in every dish. For the most magical night of the year, the restaurant offers a journey through traditional flavours with Cinco Jotas Iberian ham, duck foie gras with apple cream, turbot in creamy pil-pil sauce and slow-cooked lamb. All accompanied by artisan nougat, truffles and lucky grapes.
Lady Bongo breaks the rules and travels through the tropics to reinterpret Japanese cuisine with Creole and Latin influences. On their New Year’s Eve menu, chutoro nigiri, grilled scallops, crab bao with sarsa criolla sauce, and sirloin yakitori are accompanied by sweet treats such as mini raspberry cheesecake and chocolate and matcha bonbons.
And for those who prefer the more traditional soul of Madrid, Patio de Leones, with a menu available for both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, presents itself as a cosmic-cañí tavern where tradition and modernity merge in a tribute to the Puerta de Alcalá. Its 100% national menu and uninterrupted opening hours make this venue the perfect meeting place for parties. The New Year’s Eve menu combines authentic ingredients with a touch of refinement: Cinco Jotas Iberian ham, scallops wrapped in bacon, duck foie gras, turbot pil-pil and lamb ingot, finishing with artisan desserts and the inevitable lucky grapes.
This Christmas and New Year’s Eve, Ramses District invites you to experience Madrid from the heart of the city. Four spaces, four ways to celebrate and one stage: the magic of the Puerta de Alcalá.
