- Quadrant Travel Technology, a company specialising in comprehensive digitalisation for travel agencies, and Atlas, a technology company specialising in direct distribution for low-cost airlines, have reached a strategic agreement that significantly expands access to air content for travel agencies operating with Quadrant solutions.
- Thanks to this alliance, agencies will be able to integrate the Atlas platform’s air product into their daily processes, optimising the search, selection and sale of low-cost flights from more than 140 airlines.
The agreement was announced at the recent FITUR trade fair by Fernando Ramiro, CEO of Quadrant Travel Technology, and Óscar Castellano, Director of Sales Europe & North America at Atlas. It symbolises the convergence of two technology companies with a shared vision: to provide travel agencies with direct, agile and cost-effective access to the best air content.
The incorporation of Atlas’ product into Quadrant’s ecosystem will allow agencies to work with a broader and more competitive flight portfolio, while maintaining control over their processes and customers.
Atlas will provide Quadrant Travel Technology with a layer of highly specialised air content, based on direct API connectivity with low-cost airlines and a high capacity for data analysis.
‘We are very pleased with the integration of Atlas, which reinforces our mission to continue offering travel agencies more content, more power and, ultimately, more freedom to develop their business independently and competitively,’ says Fernando Ramiro, CEO of Quadrant Travel Technology. ‘The integration of Atlas’s air product into Quadrant’s solutions will enable agencies to differentiate themselves and respond quickly to the demands of today’s travellers,’ he adds.
Óscar Castellano, Director of Sales Europe & North America at Atlas, states: “The alliance with Quadrant is a key step for Atlas in Spain and Latin America. Its platform allows us to immediately scale our air content to hundreds of independent agencies, with agile integration that is fully geared towards the agent’s actual operations. Together, we are removing historical barriers to the sale of low-cost airlines, offering not only direct and reliable access to a truly global airline portfolio, but also comprehensive after-sales capabilities—such as ancillary management, changes and refunds—directly from the platform, without relying on external processes or airline websites.”
