The premium airline has won the award for the World’s Best Business Class and is once again ranked among the world’s best.
Cathay Pacific, the Hong Kong-based premium airline, has been one of the big winners in the World’s Best Airlines for 2026 rankings by AirlineRatings, the prestigious international organisation dedicated to assessing airline safety and products.
Specifically, Cathay Pacific has been ranked second among the World’s Best Full-Service Airlines. It has also won the award for the World’s Best Business Class, thanks to its new Aria Suite cabins and in recognition of its excellent in-house lounges.
Meanwhile, Cathay Cargo has been recognised as the World’s Best Cargo Airline, whilst HK Express has been named the Best Low-Cost Airline.

Also in the past year, Cathay Cargo was named the World’s Best Cargo Carrier by Air Transport World (ATW), and HK Express also made it into the top three of the World’s Most Improved Airlines, again according to Skytrax.
