Perched high above MADRING’s new semi-urban circuit is La Azotea, a spectacular three-storey structure featuring a restaurant, lounge areas, swimming pools and a panoramic terrace overlooking the coveted La Monumental bend.
Today sees the release of the first official renderings of this structure, conceived by MATCH Hospitality, Exclusive Official Hospitality Provider and Official Accommodation Provider for the MADRING circuit. Designed as an exclusive enclave from which to experience the excitement of the Grand Prix and the energy of the city, La Azotea will make its debut during the 2026 FORMULA 1 TAG HEUER SPANISH GRAND PRIX, to be held from 11 to 13 September.
With contemporary architecture and an elegant structure where glass and natural light interact with Madrid’s skyline, on its upper terrace, a delicate white fabric canopy filters the sun and creates a luminous and sophisticated atmosphere. From there, large windows and open platforms offer 360° panoramic views of both the city and some of the most iconic sections of the Madrid circuit, creating a privileged setting to experience Formula 1 from a unique perspective.
Located at La Monumental, the circuit’s most iconic corner, La Azotea is designed as a multi-zone experience that blends gastronomy, entertainment and sport. Guests can enjoy a restaurant, panoramic terraces, lounge areas and a lively festival site, as well as a private Official Hospitality stand with direct views of the action at the banked Turn 12.
Open on Saturday from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm and on Sunday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, La Azotea is a vibrant venue that evolves throughout the day, offering a variety of dining options during the day and a festive, cosmopolitan atmosphere as night falls.
Five exclusive areas in which to experience the Grand Prix
La Azotea is organised across different levels, each designed to offer a distinct experience. The journey begins on the ground floor, which serves as the reception and welcome area. Here, guests enter the world of this exclusive venue before exploring the different areas of the site.
Those who book a ticket to La Azotea have access to another Official Hospitality area known as El Mirador, a lively gastronomic festival site featuring various gourmet stalls and a dynamic atmosphere designed for socialising. This level features two shallow lounge pools with an attractive chequered flag design, and is home to the Official Hospitality main stage, the epicentre of the after-party.
The restaurant is located on the first floor, a bespoke space with a balcony and tables available for booking in shifts. From here, guests can enjoy an exclusive dining experience whilst taking in the circuit.
Level 2 houses an open-air terrace equipped with bars, lounge areas and a selection of cocktails. The music programme includes DJs and live performances, creating a lively atmosphere from which guests also enjoy privileged views of some of the track’s most spectacular sections: La Chicane (turns 10 and 11), La Monumental (turn 12) and turn 13.
The La Azotea tour culminates on the third floor, a private rooftop terrace representing the most exclusive level of the venue. This space offers unrivalled views of both the circuit and the Madrid skyline.
A dynamic and ever-changing dining experience
La Azotea’s culinary offering pays tribute to Madrid’s extraordinary food scene. In the restaurant, guests can enjoy tasting menu dishes in an elegant yet relaxed setting, with tables and balconies opening out onto the circuit.
The experience extends throughout the venue with a constantly evolving culinary offering: from appetisers on the upper floor with sweet and savoury options for lunch, afternoon snacks on the terrace, to stations and bars serving tapas and small plates created by some of Madrid’s most influential establishments. In addition, guests can enjoy an extensive cocktail menu and a premium selection featuring Moët & Chandon Champagne, high-end spirits, beer and carefully selected wines.
Entertainment: DJs, performances and special guests
Beyond the race, La Azotea will offer an entertainment programme designed to capture the cosmopolitan spirit of Madrid. It will feature a host, interviews with special guests and leading figures from the worlds of sport and entertainment.
Throughout the weekend, the atmosphere will be livened up by DJs, live music and special performances, whilst Saturday night will culminate in a huge headliner party on the main stage. Guests will also have access to all the activities in the El Mirador area, enhancing the social and festive experience of the circuit.
La Azotea will undoubtedly be The Place To Be during the Grand Prix’s debut at this circuit.
