The KGM Musso EVX has won the Red Dot Design Award 2026. This prestigious award is considered one of the world’s largest and most important design competitions. Every year, the Red Dot Design Award—established in 1955—presents awards in three categories: Product Design, Brand Design and Communication, and Design Concepts. A jury of around 40 experts from around the world evaluates entries from a wide variety of sectors: from fashion and the entertainment industry to household appliances and industrial products, as well as furniture and vehicles.

Sporty and robust design, high comfort

The KGM Musso EVX impresses with its sporty and robust appearance in both active family life and commercial use. This 5.16-metre-long pick-up is based on a vehicle architecture developed specifically for electric models and comes as standard with a double cab for up to five occupants. Passengers enjoy an exceptionally high level of comfort, more typical of classic saloon cars than of pick-ups. Even so, its load bed, measuring 1.35 x 1.52 metres (width x length) and with a volume of 1,049 litres, offers enough space for a European pallet.

Power is provided by a 152 kW / 207 hp electric motor, which delivers 339 Nm of torque from the moment it starts. Those opting for the optional all-wheel drive have a second, equally powerful electric motor on the rear axle. The combined system output is 175 kW / 238 hp. This ensures optimum traction and performance at all times, and even allows for towing up to 2.3 tonnes. Regardless of the drive system, it features an 80.6 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, which enables a range of up to 419 kilometres (combined WLTP) on a single charge. At 120 kW fast-charging stations, the battery can be recharged from 10% to 80% in 36 minutes.

This international recognition highlights KGM’s evolution in recent years, which has resulted in vehicles with an increasingly strong identity of their own, and confirms that for the brand, design not only complements but leads its value proposition alongside fundamental pillars such as technology and safety.
