Hacienda Zorita Wine Hotel is embarking on a new chapter, reinforcing its identity as a food and wine destination rooted in the history and experiences of the region, in a unique setting that forms part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection.
Hacienda Zorita Wine Hotel is celebrating the start of a new chapter on the banks of the River Tormes, where history, heritage and hospitality have been part of its identity for centuries.
The hotel is embarking on this phase in partnership with the management company Acerca Hospitality, which is thereby reinforcing its commitment to unique hotels with their own distinct identity, as part of a growth strategy in the experiential tourism segment.
In this context, Hacienda Zorita Wine Hotel is thus strengthening its position as a unique, experiential tourism destination, part of the international Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection, committed to an approach where luxury is defined by authenticity, a connection with the surroundings and an appreciation of local culture.
With 40 rooms – comprising 17 villas and 23 guest rooms – and a strong connection to wine and gastronomy, Hacienda Zorita Wine Hotel continues to evolve as a place where the guest experience is shaped by the landscape and its connection to the local area.
The start of this new chapter was marked by an intimate gathering that brought together partners, friends of the project and institutional representatives. During the event, Fran Asensio, the hotel’s director who has been at the helm of Hacienda Zorita for 17 years, expressed his gratitude to the new owners, managers, authorities, institutional representatives, partners and friends in attendance, whilst Ángel González Pieras, Director-General of Tourism for Castile and León, also addressed the gathering.
Furthermore, the day continued with a gastronomic experience of the highest standard, prepared using local produce and true to the hotel’s identity and its approach to cuisine as an integral part of the region.
During the event, particular emphasis was placed on Hacienda Zorita’s commitment to locally sourced produce and to an approach to hospitality that is closely linked to the local environment. From wines, cheeses, Iberian cured meats, honeys and olive oils right through to the hotel’s own staff, the establishment maintains a direct connection with local producers, suppliers and professionals as an essential part of its identity and the experience it offers its guests.
This new phase reinforces the continuity of a project in which the local area, gastronomy and hospitality remain at the very heart of its offering.
