- Production of the electric supercar began last June at the Sindelfingen plant in Stuttgart, and orders are now being taken in our market.

The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door Coupé redefines performance: with extreme power, unrivalled sustained performance, highly precise handling and an intense, exhilarating AMG driving experience, this four-door sports car takes performance and driving pleasure to a whole new level. The new model is based on the high-performance AMG.EA (AMG electric architecture) platform and thus underlines Affalterbach’s pioneering spirit with numerous world firsts.
Mercedes-AMG demonstrated the capabilities of this technology last year with the spectacular driving record set by the CONCEPT AMG GT XX in Nardó, Italy. The technology demonstrator covered more than 40,000 kilometres in seven days and 13 hours, literally ‘travelling round the world in eight days’, and smashed a total of 25 long-distance records in the process.
The new model is now available to order and will initially be offered with two powerful powertrains at launch: the Mercedes-AMG GT 55 4-door Coupé, starting at €160,500, and the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4-door Coupé, with a base price of €206,500.

The new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door Coupé is a masterpiece of engineering. A host of innovations and world firsts offer customers more performance, excitement and driving pleasure than ever before.
- Powered by a revolutionary concept: For the first time in a fully electric series-production vehicle, so-called axial-flow motors are being used. The sports car utilises three of these highly innovative electric motors: two on the rear axle and one at the front. Together, they deliver a system output of up to 860 kW (1,169 hp). This is complemented by a high-performance battery concept that not only guarantees enormous power but also ensures it is available repeatedly, alongside impressively rapid energy absorption and high power density.
- Impressive performance: The 0–100 km/h sprint is achieved in just 2.1 seconds1, whilst the car takes just 6.4 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 200 km/h.2 The top speed is 300 km/h (with the optional driver’s package).
- Impressive charging speed: the new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door Coupé is not only fast on the road, but also at the charging point. Thanks to a charging capacity of 600 kW, more than 460 kilometres of range can be recharged in just 10 minutes. For a typical charging cycle from 10 to 80 per cent state of charge (SoC), only 11 minutes are required.2
- V8 driving excitement: those who love V8 engines will adore this car. With the “AMGFORCE Sport+” driving programme, the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door Coupé delivers an authentic, signature AMG V8 sound spectacle, coupled with an immersive, tactile experience that includes traction interruptions during simulated gear changes. A driver-oriented display enhances the sensation of driving a high-performance V8 sports car. Hard to describe, but even more impressive to experience. With this mode activated, it feels and sounds as if you were in a high-powered V8.
- Professional-level driving dynamics: with the AMG Race Engineer, the most ambitious drivers can further tailor the dynamics of the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé to their driving style. Thanks to intelligently interconnected hardware and software, response, traction and cornering behaviour can be precisely controlled. In this way, the AMG RACE ENGINEER refines agility and takes the driving experience to a new, breathtaking level.
- Active aerodynamics: To transfer the raw power to the road as effectively as possible, the 4-door coupé’s aerodynamics adapt at lightning speed to any driving situation, ensuring maximum dynamism and efficiency. The 4-door coupé features several innovative developments: two active AEROKINETICS aerodynamic elements and the active AEROKINETICS rear diffuser.
