Autocaravanas y Campers and “Adictos a la autocaravana” are organising this event from 9 to 11 October in El Bonillo (Albacete).
The caravanning website Autocaravanas y Campers (A&C) is organising, in collaboration with the Facebook group “Adictos a la autocaravana” – which has over 113,000 members – the “1st AdictosAC Meet-up”, an event taking place from 9 to 11 October 2026 at the El Bonillo Motorhome Site (Albacete).
Having become strategic partners earlier this year, both organisations have decided to go one step further and establish themselves as one of the most active and engaged communities in Spain’s caravanning sector by organising their first-ever in-person event.
The gathering thus marks the first major in-person meeting of a community that has been sharing the road virtually for years, and has been organised with the aim of putting faces to names, forging new connections and enjoying a weekend centred on a shared passion for travelling in motorhomes and campervans.
According to David Fernández Lorca, CEO of Autocaravanas y Campers, “with over 113,000 members now, we believe the time has come to take it a step further and bring all that spirit into the real world. This first gathering has been organised precisely with that intention: so that those who have been sharing the open road, advice and experiences for years can meet in person, enjoy each other’s company and feel part of something even bigger”.
Three days to share experiences
Over three days, attendees will be able to enjoy a comprehensive programme combining socialising, outdoor activities, talks, workshops and a market area, amongst other things. The full programme will be announced shortly.
The event is being organised by Lidia Geniz, founder of Van Travellers, a travel co-ordinator and organiser of experiences and events, whose travels have taken her to more than 55 countries by land.
Participation from 70 euros
The organisers have set out different participation options. A general admission ticket costs 89 euros and includes a vehicle and two adults, whilst there is also an individual ticket for 70 euros covering a vehicle and one adult. Additional adults can join for 40 euros, whilst children up to the age of 12 have free entry.
Registration includes access for all three days, a camping area, participation in activities, workshops and talks; a welcome pack, a farewell banquet on Sunday and entry into the final raffle. Those wishing to extend their stay until Monday 12 October may do so, although there will be no official programme on that day.
