  • The wholesaler remains committed to making the destination more accessible to Spanish travellers by adding new departure cities to its special programme and providing travel agencies with new options for marketing the destination.

The tour operator Cinco Estrellas Club is expanding its regional flight operations to Egypt for the autumn-winter season, increasing the number of departure cities from 21 to 27, thereby making the destination more accessible to travellers from more parts of Spain. With this initiative, the company is offering travel agents a wider range of options for marketing its Egypt programmes, making it easier to reach the destination from different parts of Spain.

The 27 cities from which Cinco Estrellas Club operates flights to Egypt are: Valladolid, Málaga, Bilbao, Salamanca, Badajoz, Seville, Burgos, Valencia, León, Vigo, Pamplona, Granada, Almería, Jerez, A Coruña, Madrid, Albacete, Murcia, Zaragoza, Alicante-Elche, Gran Canaria, Santiago de Compostela, Asturias, Lleida, Palma de Mallorca, Vitoria and Santander.

This new schedule offers travellers a more convenient and accessible experience by expanding the range of available departure points and making it easier to book Cinco Estrellas Club packages. The addition of new Spanish cities as departure points for trips to Egypt not only simplifies the journey to the destination but also greatly increases the range of travel options.

Looking ahead to 2027, the first departures are already beginning to see a steady pace of bookings, so agencies are advised to make their bookings in advance to ensure availability.

The best tours for discovering Egypt

The Egypt programme includes a range of tours combining a visit to Cairo, a Nile cruise and Luxor, as well as the chance to explore some of the country’s main attractions. The available programmes are ‘Nile and Abu Simbel’, ‘Pharaonic Legends’ and ‘Egypt in Full’, all of which include a flight to Abu Simbel.

The programmes begin in Cairo, where travellers will be able to explore some of the capital’s main attractions, such as the Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Khafre. They will also have the chance to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) and the Museum of Civilisations.

The trip continues with a visit to Abu Simbel, followed by a three-night cruise along the Nile, during which travellers will visit some of the country’s most important temples before arriving in Luxor. In Luxor, travellers can round off their experience with a range of optional activities, such as the sound and light show at Karnak or a hot-air balloon ride at sunrise, before returning by direct flight to their home town.

Cinco Estrellas Club also offers travel agencies a range of optional excursion packages at special rates, so that each traveller can tailor the itinerary to their preferences.
