Atmosphere Core celebra dos galardones en los South Asian Travel Awards 2026
  • Atmosphere Core has been honoured with two major awards at the 2026 South Asian Travel Awards (SATA), receiving the awards for Leading Resort/Hotel Brand and Leading Hospitality Development Company.

These accolades highlight Atmosphere Core’s contribution to the hospitality sector in the Maldives and other international destinations, as well as its commitment to creating unique experiences for its guests through hospitality that pays attention to every last detail, brands with their own distinct identities, and a responsible development model.

With an ever-growing portfolio of properties, both in the Maldives and other international destinations, Atmosphere Core continues to build a diverse range of hotel brands, each with its own personality and a distinctive approach to the guest experience. As it expands its presence, the company continues to evolve and enrich its portfolio, whilst remaining true to the philosophy of warm and genuine hospitality that defines its very essence.

The award for Best Hotel Development Company also recognises Atmosphere Core’s track record of expansion, which has gone beyond its established presence in the Maldives to venture into new destinations and hotel concepts. Recently, the company has reached a new milestone with its entry into Europe, thanks to the opening of BORGO MONCHIERO HERITAGE by Atmosphere in Italy, whilst continuing to drive forward new hotel projects in strategic markets.

Commenting on these accolades, Salil Panigrahi, Chief Executive of Atmosphere Core, said: “It is an honour to receive these two awards at the 2026 South Asian Travel Awards. They reflect the dedication of our teams, both at the resorts and in our offices and development projects, as well as the trust placed in us by our guests, partners and industry professionals. As we continue to grow, our aim remains to create memorable hospitality experiences, whilst developing brands and destinations with a clearly defined identity and purpose.”

The South Asian Travel Awards have established themselves as one of the leading platforms for recognition within the tourism and hospitality sector in South Asia. In their 2026 edition, these awards honour companies and professionals who stand out for their excellence and contribution to the development of the region’s tourism industry.

These two new awards join the growing list of accolades received by Atmosphere Core and represent a new milestone in its journey of growth and consolidation as an international hotel company.
