The new office, which joins the one in Shanghai, consolidates the consultancy’s presence in China and expands its capacity to connect the Chinese market with Spain, Europe and Latin America.
ASIALINK, a Spanish firm specialising in strategic consultancy, communications and marketing to connect with Asian markets, is strengthening its growth and internationalisation strategy with the opening of an office in Beijing, which complements its existing office in Shanghai and enables the consultancy to expand its structure and operational capacity in China.
The opening of this new office forms part of the strategic collaboration agreement signed with National Tourism, one of China’s leading specialist travel and tourism media outlets and a key player in the country’s tourism industry. Its current chairperson also serves as Secretary-General of the China Chamber of Tourism (CCT), a national organisation within the tourism sector overseen by the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
National Tourism continuously monitors trends in China’s travel and tourism sector and provides sector-specific information, policy analysis, market research and professional networking platforms.
The partnership will enable ASIALINK to further expand its capabilities and reach within the Chinese tourism ecosystem, incorporating new avenues for cooperation, sector intelligence and industry connections, whilst reinforcing the value the consultancy brings to destinations, institutions and companies in their internationalisation and business development strategies.
According to Jennifer Zhang, CEO of ASIALINK, “this partnership marks a new step in consolidating our position in the Asian region, adding to our experience, market knowledge and network of relationships a greater capacity to engage with the country’s tourism industry and new tools to generate opportunities for cooperation and business between China and international markets”.
Connecting China with Spain, Europe and Latin America
The new Beijing office will complement ASIALINK’s presence in Shanghai and enable it to strengthen its capacity to connect China with Spain, Europe and Latin America, generating new opportunities for cooperation, market intelligence, business and tourism promotion amongst destinations, institutions, companies and industry professionals.
Within this framework, ASIALINK and National Tourism will jointly organise international tourism sector events, networking sessions and activities linked to the development and promotion of high-value tourism products, as well as initiatives aimed at boosting visitor exchange and cooperation between different markets.
The collaboration will also have a clear two-way dimension. Both organisations will work together to promote China and its various regions as tourist destinations in international markets, creating new connections and opportunities for the Chinese tourism industry beyond its borders.
