Range Rover has launched its first luxury lifestyle capsule collection. Starring actress and top model Adwoa Aboah, the new campaign features eight classic and versatile pieces inspired by the British brand’s signature modernist spirit.
The London Collection captures the dynamic urban architecture with a discourse based on modern elegance and sophistication. The collection, exquisitely crafted from the finest materials and combining innovative techniques by a team of professionals from the United Kingdom and Italy, includes lightweight jackets, 100% silk twill scarves and wool and cashmere blankets inspired by the colour palette of mid-century design.
The collection also features a distinctive abstract print and a recurring contemporary motif, designed to echo the design language and elegant silhouette of Range Rover, which juxtaposes modernist lines and shapes.
Led by Creative and Fashion Director Marcos Fecchino, The London Collection incorporates design cues from Range Rover’s modernist, refined and minimalist approach, seamlessly blending classic and versatile designs with bold colours and its own unique print.
The collection focuses on classic lines and the use of padded and luxurious materials, with intricate details such as custom zip fastenings on reversible jackets for men and women. The zip are a nod to Range Rover’s design heritage, inspired by the traditional rotary controls characteristic of the brand’s interiors, evolved into the Pivi Rro digital touchscreen infotainment displays, as well as its exclusive Sunset Gold exterior paint finish.
In addition, the collection features a distinctive abstract print and a recurring contemporary Bodyside motif, a subtle nod to the brand’s unmistakable design language and elegant silhouette. Meanwhile, the exclusive print developed by Range Rover’s in-house design team combines a unique limited-edition colour palette inspired by modernist art, which is repeated on the 100% silk twill scarves and appears in the delicate quilting on each panel of the reversible jackets.
Each panel of the Knightsbridge Promenade and Soho Chic reversible jackets for men and women is individually handcrafted, featuring delicate quilting by expert artisans in Italy and the United Kingdom. They also feature a bespoke zip pull with a bevelled edge at the bottom in Sunset Gold, inspired by one of Range Rover’s famous paint finishes. On the other hand, the reversible Knightsbridge Promenade design is brown with a pink quilted side, while the reversible Soho Chic design is quilted on the front and features a bold graphic print in raspberry and pink on the back.
The collection features two modern 100% silk scarves that tell a story of craftsmanship that condenses several centuries of experience in the United Kingdom and Europe. About Town features a print crafted by expert artisans in Lake Como, Italy, and Chelsea Blossom has been made in Macclesfield, one of the last remaining textile mills in the United Kingdom. Manufactured in small batches, special attention is paid to hand-finishing techniques, including a beautiful rolled edge. Its graphic prints are a bold celebration of colour, while its elegant draping expresses the pure refinement of Range Rover.
Finally, the luxurious blankets made from a blend of virgin wool (90%) and cashmere (10%) have been woven on jacquard looms in Italy by one of the world’s leading suppliers of luxury fabrics. Fabrics that have been dyed in two colour palettes: London Nightfall and Cream Tea. The blankets feature the distinctive Bodyside motif, visible throughout the collection, and are finished by hand with a blanket-stitched edge.
The London Collection is completed by an iconic Range Rover aluminium sculpture created from a single piece of aluminium and designed in two shades, an exclusive Sunset Gold and Tourmaline Brown.
