The tenth edition of the EVOOLEUM Guide is now on the market, and we finally know the 100 best extra virgin olive oils in the world. This has been decided by the prestigious jury of the EVOOLEUM Awards, the most influential and rigorous international competition for EVOO quality currently in existence. On this occasion, the Best EVOO in the world for the 2024/25 season is Monini Monocultivar Coratina, an Italian single-varietal olive oil that has won this prestigious award more times than any other. Completing the podium are South Africa’s De Rustica Estate Collection Coratina and La Mancha’s Valdenvero Hojiblanco, whose producer also wins the Best Female Producer and Best Oil Mill Master awards.

As always, the stars of this essential olive oil guide are the hundred or so EVOOs, but in addition to their quality, awards are also given for the best packaging designs, the 20 best small producers of EVOO (producing less than 2,500 litres per season) and the 10 healthiest extra virgin olive oils according to their polyphenol content. As always, each TOP100 entry details its origin, characteristics, varieties, type of olive grove, olive oil tourism activities, organic certification, whether it is Kosher or Halal, score, tasting notes and pairing.
On its tenth anniversary, the EVOOLEUM Guide 2026 couldn’t be more gastronomic… or appetising!
