There is an Ibiza that doesn’t fit on postcards. An island that beats to a rhythm beyond nightlife, where art happens in the streets, in conversation and in the collective. That Ibiza comes to life once more from 29 to 31 May with the fourth edition of the Fantasía Ibiza Festival (FIF), an event that transforms the historic centre into an open and vibrant creative ecosystem.
For three days, venues such as Vara de Rey, Plaza del Parque and the Baluarte de Santa Llúcia in Dalt Vila (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) become stages where everything happens at once: live music, live painting, dance, performance art, installations and, for the first time, film. Here, the audience does not merely observe: they participate, interact and form part of a shared experience that blurs the boundaries between artist and spectator.
With the support of Ibiza Town Council and the Consell de Ibiza, the FIF offers not just a cultural programme, but a different way of experiencing the city: a space where art engages with architecture, with history and, above all, with people.
The other Ibiza: culture, community and transformation
Far from the clichés, the Fantasía Ibiza Festival was created with a clear aim: to position the island as a contemporary cultural destination, where creativity, critical thinking and connection are an essential part of its identity.

Conscious artists
More than 50 artists will gather in Ibiza this May at the Fantasía Ibiza Festival, bringing together a diverse and vibrant programme that connects disciplines, sensibilities and cultures. Among them are names such as Alex Serra, Anna Laurini, Danchú —creator of this year’s official image under the slogan “Water and Gratitude”— and the collaboration with Ray of Light Awards (ROLA), which extends the festival’s reach into audiovisual language and contemporary thought.
The creators participating in the FIF share a common vision: art as a driver of change. Musicians, visual artists and performers work from a perspective committed to the environment, social awareness and collective transformation.
In this context, the artistic proposals intertwine, creating a constantly shifting tapestry: painting born to the rhythm of music, bodies occupying urban space, installations that invite you to pause… or to participate
The FIF expands: partnership with ROLA
In a major new development, the festival is incorporating audiovisual content through ROLA – Ray of Light Awards, broadening its scope to include cinema, contemporary thought and interdisciplinary collaboration.
ROLA will organise various activities throughout the week, culminating in a closing weekend integrated into the FIF. During these days, there will be talks and panels on artificial intelligence, new creative generations and the transformative power of music.
The programme will conclude with the presentation of the Ray of Light Awards, which recognise works and careers capable of inspiring change. The categories range from music to female audiovisual production, new creative voices and projects that highlight Ibiza’s cultural identity.
These awards, created in honour of the actor Ray Stevenson, reinforce the vision shared by ROLA and the FIF: art as a tool for telling stories that matter and make an impact.
