To mark Father’s Day, Big Mamma invites you to enjoy a very special weekend at all its restaurants in Madrid and Barcelona, celebrating with one of the most iconic desserts in Italian tradition: Le Zeppole di San Giuseppe, a classic symbol of Father’s Day.
Originally from Naples, Zeppole are pastries filled with custard and topped with a touch of fruit or icing sugar, traditionally enjoyed on 19 March, coinciding with the feast of St Joseph, Father’s Day, and are a symbol of this day. These delicacies were traditionally made by nuns in convents in southern Italy every 19 March, coinciding with the feast day of San Giuseppe, patron saint of fathers. Over time, Zeppole have become synonymous with family celebration, history, sweetness and the joy of sharing special moments with loved ones.
Throughout the weekend, from 19 to 22 March, Big Mamma will offer limited quantities of Zeppole in all its restaurants: Bel Mondo, Villa Capri, Gloria and Circolo Popolare in Madrid and Barcelona. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy Italian tradition in a festive atmosphere, accompanying the food with the characteristic Big Mamma atmosphere: generous cuisine, a vibrant atmosphere and moments to share with the family.
With this initiative, Big Mamma seeks to make Father’s Day celebrations even more memorable, combining history, flavour and authentic Italian experiences.
