- For the 2027 model year, BMW Motorrad will once again be introducing a series of updates across its entire product range.
- New, attractive colours and special equipment.
Models featuring the new configurations will be available to order at all BMW Motorrad dealerships from August 2026.
BMW F 900 XR
- Factory option: Comfort package with new features: M Endurance chain.
BMW S 1000 RR.
- Style M Sport edition in the new Blackstorm Metallic / M Motorsport colour scheme, plus a tinted windscreen and M forged wheels. The Sport / Bluestone Metallic colour scheme is no longer available.
- Equipment optional: USB charging port included in the Dynamic package and the M Sport edition.
- Equipment optional: M Package with new M forged wheels. M carbon wheels are now an alternative option within the package.
BMW M 1000 RR.
- New M Motorsport chassis as standard:
- Chassis: 3rd-generation M Motorsport chassis with significantly improved flex characteristics
- Weight reduced by approx. 1.3 kg
- Wall thickness reduced by approximately 30 per cent
- Stiffness and flexibility precisely tuned for optimum chassis performance and maximum grip
- Standard equipment includes forged M wheels. M carbon wheels are now part of the optional package.
- Optional equipment: the M Track package, a new package comprising the M Endurance chain, the Carbon Package, the M Billet Package and M carbon wheels. The M Competition package is no longer available.
- Optional equipment: the ‘M Track II Package’, a new package comprising the M Endurance chain, the ‘Carbon Package’ and the ‘M Billet Package’. The ‘M Competition Package’ is no longer available.
BMW M 1000 XR.
- Optional equipment: the M Track Package, a new package comprising the M Laptrigger, the Carbon Package, the M Billet Package and M Carbon wheels. The M Competition Package is no longer available.
- Optional equipment: the ‘M Track Package II’ as a new package comprising the ‘M Laptrigger’, the ‘Carbon Package’ and the ‘M Billet Package’. The ‘M Competition Package’ is no longer available.
BMW R 1300 RS.
- Optional equipment: left/right pannier racks are now also available as a factory option for Style Performance.
BMW F 900 R.
- Optional equipment: Comfort Package with new content: M Endurance chain.
BMW S 1000 R.
- Optional equipment: USB charging port included in the ‘Comfort’ package.
BMW M 1000 R.
- Optional equipment: M Track Package as a new package including the M Laptrigger, Carbon Package, M Billet Package and M carbon wheels. The M Competition Package is no longer available.

BMW R 1300 R.
- Optional equipment: left and right pannier mounts are now also available as a factory option.
- Optional equipment: new Touring package including left and right pannier mounts, central locking and centre stand.
BMW K 1600 GT.
- Optional equipment: Design Option wheels with decorative striping for the Style Edition II.
- Style Edition II with new ‘Imperial Blue Metallic’ colour scheme. The ‘719 Blue Ridge Mountain Metallic’ option is no longer available. New ‘K 1600 Edition’. Black/yellow bench seat. Yellow decorative striping on the wheels.
BMW K 1600 GTL.
- Style Edition II with the new ‘Imperial Blue Metallic’ colour scheme. The 719 ‘Blue Ridge Mountain Metallic’ option, the Exclusive trim and the ‘Gravity Blue Metallic’ colour are no longer available. New ‘K 1600 Edition’. Option 719: black bench seat (new), Option 719: forged wheels.
BMW K 1600 Bagger and Grand America.
- Style II Edition with the new ‘Imperial Blue Metallic’ colour scheme. Option 719 ‘Ionic Silver Metallic’ is no longer available. New ‘K 1600 Edition’.
BMW R 12 G/S.
- Option 719 and Option 719 II with the new colour ‘Frozen Brooklyn Grey Metallic’. The colour ‘Sandrover Uni Matt’ is no longer available.
BMW R 12 S
- The special edition R 12 S model is no longer available, nor is the colour ‘Lava Orange Metallic’.
