Fashion by the lake with Biarritz en Vogue
The château, situated in the town of Anglet, will host the event “L’été défile encore” (“Summer Still Parades”) on Wednesday 9 September, organised in collaboration with the Biarritz en Vogue collective, a platform that aims to raise the profile of designers and fashion brands from the Basque Country and the Landes, and to showcase local creativity, artisanal expertise and the region’s identity.
The event will bring together designers, craftspeople and fashion enthusiasts from the region on the shores of the establishment’s lake. Against this natural backdrop, fashion will step outdoors to engage with the landscape and the unique atmosphere of the French Basque Country at the end of summer, creating an occasion where creativity, craftsmanship and the region itself will share the limelight.
With nature as its catwalk, this event aims to pay tribute to local creative talent and the region’s distinctive way of life. The lake and its natural surroundings will thus serve as the backdrop for an evening that extends the magic of summer beyond the summer season.
Doors will open at 7.00 pm, followed by the fashion show at 7.30 pm and a DJ set until 10.00 pm.
Tickets cost 40 euros per person and include a glass of champagne and a selection of tapas, allowing you to enjoy one of the last evenings of summer in a stunning setting at an event that celebrates local fashion and creativity.
Reconnecting the body and skin with the new retreats
The big news will arrive in October with its new two-day wellness retreat. The experience will begin with a personalised skin analysis, a consultation with a naturopath, an optional healthy lunch and a one-hour-and-fifteen-minute facial treatment tailored to each guest’s specific needs.
On the second day, the focus will be on physical wellbeing through a ritual combining exfoliation and a body wrap, thus completing an experience designed to restore physical and mental balance.
This programme is available from 480 euros per person without accommodation and 730 euros including one night’s stay at the hotel, allowing guests to fully enjoy the natural surroundings, the spa and the tranquillity offered by the hotel and the destination.
Sunday brunch is back
From 30 August, Brindos, Lac & Château is bringing back one of its most popular offerings: Sunday brunch.
Every week, from midday, the restaurant will offer an extensive buffet featuring sweet and savoury bites, prepared with seasonal produce and local specialities. It is designed to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace overlooking the lake, turning Sunday into a gastronomic experience that combines French cuisine with Basque character.
