- From 15 November, all Cathay Gold members will be able to enjoy this service on board free of charge, regardless of their flight class.

Hong Kong-based premium airline Cathay Pacific has just announced that, from 15 November 2025, it will offer free Wi-Fi on its flights to all Gold members travelling on board, regardless of their flight class, thus ensuring an even more premium in-flight experience.
From now on, free Wi-Fi service will be available to all passengers travelling in First Class and Business Class. Diamond and Gold members of the Cathay loyalty programme will also be able to enjoy this benefit, regardless of the class of travel.
The airline plans to go one step further by offering free Wi-Fi to all members of its loyalty programme, at all levels, who also travel in Premium Economy class; First and Business classes already include this service.
“At Cathay Pacific, we understand our passengers’ need to stay connected during their flight, whether for work or entertainment. Free Wi-Fi access now allows more passengers to enjoy uninterrupted connectivity during their flights, enabling them to check their email, browse the internet, play music, use social media, access the cloud, and utilise other professional tools.
Users can connect one device at a time, although they have complete flexibility to change it at any time during the flight. In addition, you will always have free access to all pages of cathaypacific.com and Cathay Shop in all flight cabins.
