The Cayman Islands will participate for the first time in FITUR, the International Tourism Fair held in Madrid, with the aim of strengthening and strengthening relations with the main players in the tourism industry, consolidating its position as one of the most exclusive and complete destinations in the Caribbean.
The destination’s presence at FITUR marks a strategic step in its policy of expansion and strengthening in international markets, committing to a tourism model based on quality, sustainability and excellence in the traveller’s experience. The Cayman Islands will be located at stand 3D15 – Pavilion P03.
The official delegation will be led by Rosa Harris, Director of the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism (CIDOT), alongside Gary Hendricks, Deputy Director of Marketing and International Promotion, and Tristaca Ebanks, Head of National Promotion and Events, who will hold meetings with tour operators, agencies, airlines, specialised media and other strategic partners in the sector.
As part of its agenda in Madrid, the Cayman Islands will host a dinner on Thursday 22nd at the Papagena restaurant, aimed at representatives of the tourism industry. The event is designed as a meeting place to present the destination in more detail and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
