There are events that mark the start of summer. And then there’s Pimentón Fest. On 20 June, the Los Confites Organic Farm in Jarandilla de la Vera will once again become the setting for one of the most special events on the calendar: a festival that combines music, food, art and nature in a format that has already established itself as the definitive ‘day in the countryside’.
Now in its fourth year, Pimentón Fest has evolved whilst keeping its essence intact: an outdoor experience where time is measured in concerts, strolls amongst designer stalls and endless after-dinner chats. From 12 noon until midnight, the festival offers a full day to unwind, discover and celebrate the arrival of summer.
Music is once again the day’s central theme, with one particularly highlight: the performance by the Soto Brothers (Mi Hermano y Yo), who will be performing in an expanded line-up for this unique occasion, bringing together Sevillians Marcos and Jaime with their sister Rocío Soto on stage. With a style that defies rigid labels and is marked by a strong family identity, the group has developed a sound all of its own—intimate and emotional—which promises to make their live performance one of the day’s most special moments.
The musical line-up, presented by Extremaduran journalist Ana Pecos, will continue with the energy of Le Petit Fucking Band and culminate with a set by DJ Mallo, putting the finishing touch to an experience designed to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace.
Beyond the music, Pimentón Fest is also a space for discovery. Its now iconic Pop-Up Market will bring together more than 60 fashion, design and craft offerings selected from across Spain, whilst the old drying shed is transformed into an artistic space, where tradition and creativity engage in dialogue within a setting steeped in history.
And because this event would be incomplete without its connection to the land, for the first time visitors can enjoy a chicken exhibition – an idea as unexpected as it is in keeping with the spirit of Los Confites: celebrating the countryside through a contemporary and intimate lens.
The gastronomic experience is once again one of the festival’s main attractions. From food trucks to local offerings, the culinary journey takes you from aperitifs to afternoon drinks and dinner, with seasonal produce and the setting always taking centre stage.
A plan that leaves a lasting impact
True to its commitment to the environment, Pimentón Fest is strengthening its focus on sustainability and community support in 2026. Attendees will be able to take part in reforestation initiatives by purchasing native trees and plants, thereby contributing directly to the restoration of the local landscape. A way to enjoy the festival whilst leaving a positive mark.
Furthermore, the festival enjoys the support of Jarandilla de la Vera Town Council, the backing of the Círculo Empresarial Moralo, and the collaboration of Blundstone, Juventud y Cultura and Pago de Balancines, the event’s official wine. Added to this is the sponsorship of Mahou, which reinforces its commitment to local initiatives and the creation of five-star experiences in unique settings.
In just four editions, Pimentón Fest has gone from being a local gathering to becoming an unmissable event for those seeking more than just music: a complete, carefully curated experience with its own unique character.
