In collaboration with Gran Fondo World Tour, this Relais & Châteaux hotel located in the heart of Priorat is offering an exclusive four-day programme in July with VIP access to two stages of the cycling race in Barcelona and Tarragona, routes through Priorat and the presence of cycling legend Robert Gesink.
Gran Hotel Mas d’en Bruno, part of The Stein Group, is launching an unprecedented cycling experience to mark the passage of the 2026 Tour de France through Catalonia. In strategic partnership with Gran Fondo World Tour (GFWT), the hotel has created an exclusive four-day programme that combines the unique spectacle of cycling’s premier competition with exploring the Priorat countryside by bike, all within a setting of luxury and premium services.
Under the name “Luxury Cycling Experience 2026”, this package is designed for cycling enthusiasts seeking total immersion in the sport and the landscape. The starting point for this special programme is Barcelona, where participants will be welcomed and enjoy VIP access to watch the start of the team time trial. Guests will then be transferred to the Gran Hotel Mas d’en Bruno in the Priorat region of Tarragona. It is in Tarragona where they will be able to experience the start of another stage with VIP access. The heart of the experience, however, will be in the unique setting of this wine-growing region, known for its winding roads and rugged, mountainous natural environment, where Mas d’en Bruno is located.
A programme with the hallmark of high-level competition
The exclusivity of the programme is underlined by the participation of Robert Gesink, legend of the Jumbo-Visma team and active professional cyclist, who will accompany guests throughout their stay, sharing routes and his international experience. In addition, another top-level professional cyclist from the UCI WorldTour circuit is expected to attend.

Itinerary for a premium experience
The meticulously designed programme begins on 4 July with arrival in Barcelona and a VIP experience at the team time trial. After transferring to the hotel, there will be bike assembly with mechanical assistance, a gentle warm-up ride through the vineyards and a route briefing by Dani Buyo, CEO of Gran Fondo World Tour, plus a welcome dinner*.
On 5 July, participants will enjoy a VIP experience at the start of the stage in Tarragona. After returning to the hotel, the cycling programme will begin between 6 and 8 July with cultural routes, master classes, wine tastings and special dinners, all alongside Robert Gesink, receiving his advice and trying out high-end professional equipment.
The experience includes everything you need for high-performance, comfortable cycling: accommodation in a Garden Suite, use of high-end Cannondale road bikes, professional guides, mechanical assistance en route, refreshments, recovery massages, daily briefing and a personalised helmet.
For non-cycling companions, the hotel has designed a parallel “Companion Luxury Experience” that includes a shopping programme in Reus, priority access to the spa, a day of relaxation in a private cabana by the pool and a cultural visit to the Cartuja de Escaladei.
