- The platform redefines luxury with more than 300 unique accommodations worldwide and direct bookings with commissions well below those of large online agencies.
- In addition to its online booking platform, CAOBA also offers a consulting service for boutique hotels and independent accommodations.
While large resorts struggle to retain increasingly demanding customers, discreet luxury tourism is enjoying a golden age. CAOBA, the platform specialising in hidden and hard-to-reach deluxe accommodation, is positioning itself as the smart alternative for those seeking exclusivity, tranquillity and unique design.
In a market saturated with massive resorts with long queues, crowded swimming pools and increasingly uncompetitive prices, CAOBA offers the opposite concept: private stays in remote, carefully selected locations, with personalised service and commissions up to three times lower than those of the most popular online travel agencies.
Since its creation in 2020 and its digital transformation in 2023, CAOBA has brought together more than 300 exclusive properties around the world: from hidden cabins on Caribbean beaches to premium igloos in Lapland and fully equipped cave houses on mountain tops.
More than reservations: high-level consulting
CAOBA also offers a consulting service for boutique hotels and independent accommodations, helping them optimise their image, media presence and direct sales strategy. From specialised photography and PMS control to communication campaigns, this service, launched at the end of 2024, already accounts for 35% of the company’s business.
Real luxury, without the crowds: the exclusivity of Punta Quintay facing the Pacific
The company points out that, contrary to popular belief, staying in a private and exclusive space is not always more expensive than a traditional resort. ‘Nowadays, many travellers pay more to sleep surrounded by noise in a four-star hotel than to enjoy a private villa with a swimming pool in the middle of nature,’ says Antonio Cabrerizo, co-founder and CEO of CAOBA.
In line with its policy of offering unique and exclusive accommodation or properties, CAOBA has added Punta Quintay to its portfolio. Located on the central coast of Chile, a few hours from the famous city of Valparaíso, Punta Quintay offers a discreet luxury experience, with architecture integrated into the landscape, unique views of the sea and a total focus on privacy. Starting in 2026, several lodges on the property will only be bookable directly through CAOBA, reinforcing its commitment to selling without intermediaries.
Opening rates for 2026 are similar to, or even lower than, those of many resorts, and those who book through the platform will receive an additional discount.
For Cabrerizo, ‘the merger between CAOBA and Punta Quintay not only demonstrates the strength of our model, but also the confidence of hoteliers in our unique proposition. Punta Quintay has given us exclusivity in the market and they are considering extending the exclusivity agreement with our brand’.
