The concept is clear: settle in by the sea, enjoy a good meal without having to go anywhere, and linger over your meal as time allows.
Right on the beachfront in the Carvajal area, Higuerón Resort is launching a new phase of Higuerón The Beach Club this season, enhancing its offering with a greater focus on gastronomy and an experience designed to let guests settle in by the sea for hours on end.
A menu designed for the beach setting
The most noticeable change is in the kitchen. Diego Gallegos, chef at Sollo, a restaurant with a Michelin Star and a Green Star, now creates the menus for The Beach and The Club, with a concept that suits the setting: straightforward, recognisable dishes designed for sharing.
The menu combines familiar favourites with some more elaborate touches: from ham croquettes or potato salad with octopus to dishes such as crispy brioche with steak tartare and roe, burgers — including a Rossini with foie gras and truffle — or a selection of starters designed for a meal without a set timetable.
The result is a menu based on familiar, well-executed dishes designed to be enjoyed without formality.
Sushi bento boxes served on the sand
The main new feature of the season is the sushi bento boxes, which bring a format common in Japanese culture to the beach.
The offering consists of a selection of items — California rolls, ceviche, nigiri and wakame salad — designed to be shared or enjoyed as a light meal without having to move. The interesting part is how it fits into the space: sushi served right in your sun lounger, without disrupting the rhythm of the day.
A full day by the sea
Higuerón The Beach Club is designed as a space where you can spend the whole day without needing to move, with sun loungers and Balinese beds right on the beachfront, continuous service in the relaxation area itself, and a menu that accompanies the different moments of the day in an open, informal setting.
Evolution of an established concept
This new phase builds on the Beach Club concept, giving greater prominence to gastronomy within an already established offering.
In this context, other venues within the complex, such as The Japo, expand the culinary offering, whilst the focus is on The Beach: on what is served, how it is presented, and how a day that begins at midday unfolds naturally.
Higuerón The Beach Club thus reinforces its position within the Costa del Sol’s offering, with a concept that combines location, cuisine and an experience by the sea.
