In total, this amounts to 1,080 additional seats. By route, flights between Madrid and Málaga will have 720 more seats, whilst those between Madrid and Seville will have 360 more. This Thursday, the airline will operate six additional flights – two return flights to Málaga and one return flight to Seville – and has upgraded the aircraft size on one of the flights to Málaga.

In addition, Iberia will offer a further 1,760 extra seats tomorrow, Friday 30 October – double the number originally planned – on eight additional flights. Specifically, on the Madrid–Seville route, two new flights are being added, at 10.40 and 14.45; and on the Seville–Madrid route, at 12.35 and 16.45. On the Madrid–Málaga route, there will be two additional flights at 06:30 and 18:50, and from Málaga to Madrid at 08:25 and 20:45.

From the 28th until tomorrow, Iberia plans to offer 3,280 extra seats – 47 per cent more than originally planned – and is continuing to work on scheduling additional flights for the coming days.
