KLM TO LAUNCH TWO NEW SUMMER ROUTES FROM OVIEDO AND SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA TO AMSTERDAM

  • KLM will launch two new routes in Spain for the 2026 summer season: Oviedo-Amsterdam (starting 29 March) and Santiago de Compostela-Amsterdam (starting 30 May). Flights have been available for purchase since 16 December.

We are pleased to announce the opening of these two new routes, which mark KLM‘s arrival for the first time at Asturias and Santiago-Rosalía de Castro airports. These connections will allow travellers from the Netherlands, as well as passengers from around the world arriving via KLM’s global network through Amsterdam Airport, to discover two unique regions in northern Spain, renowned for their cultural, gastronomic and scenic riches. At the same time, passengers from Asturias and Galicia will have the opportunity to fly directly to Amsterdam and, from Schiphol Airport, access the extensive network of European and intercontinental destinations offered by KLM,” said Laurent Perrier, Managing Director of Air France-KLM for Spain and Portugal.

From Oviedo and Santiago de Compostela, passengers will be able to fly via Amsterdam to numerous European cities, such as Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Prague, Warsaw and Geneva. Long-haul destinations include Buenos Aires, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Seoul, as well as many others.

With these new routes, KLM will offer flights from 12 Spanish cities (Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Ibiza, Madrid, Malaga, Oviedo, Palma de Mallorca, Santiago de Compostela, Seville, Tenerife and Valencia) to Amsterdam and Paris next summer, together with its partner Air France.
