Reflecting French elegance and art de vivre, La Première embodies the excellence that characterises Air France. Both at the airport and on board, those who take part in this sublime experience will enjoy unique and personalised moments of high flying, accompanied by La Première staff who guarantee a service that is as discreet as it is attentive.

“The launch of our new La Première experience is an important step in our strategic roadmap.” “We continue to invest in exceptional products for our customers at every stage of their journey, with the ambition of positioning Air France at the highest level. With a new and exclusive ground experience at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport and a completely redesigned La Première suite that is more spacious than ever, this new offering faithfully embodies the very best in travel. Our teams ensure that every journey is an exceptional experience. This new product will soon be introduced on more aircraft and destinations, confirming our commitment to excellence.” This is how Benjamin Smith, CEO of Air France-KLM Group, summarised the launch of the Franco-Dutch airline’s new first class.

La Première, the ultimate travel experience

The result of three years of development, Air France’s new La Première suite is a unique, fully modular concept comprising a seat and a chaise longue that can be converted into a full-size bed.

The seat adapts to every moment of the flight, whether it’s take-off, landing, meal time or a moment of rest. Equipped with a leather headrest engraved with the winged seahorse, the historic symbol of Air France, and soft ergonomic foam, it adapts to the shape of each passenger for perfect comfort. It also has a console table and an adjoining side table for working or eating.

Opposite the seat, a chaise longue allows you to relax in whatever position you desire. Ideal for stretching your legs while reading or enjoying a film, this chaise longue easily unfolds into a full-size bed measuring two metres long and seventy-five centimetres wide for nights of absolute comfort. In this way, the new suite can be adapted to the pace and desires of each traveller. It offers almost 3.5 square metres of private space, 25% more than the previous cabin, and is also equipped with a cosy blanket and large cushions that make this room a very intimate retreat.

Each suite is surrounded by thick curtains that provide total insulation from floor to ceiling, ensuring a cosy atmosphere. The side suites feature five windows, an exclusive feature of Air France. The adjacent suites located in the centre of the cabin allow two passengers to travel together while maintaining their privacy. An electric sliding partition that runs from top to bottom can be deployed in a single movement.

The epitome of elegance

Exclusively reserved for La Première customers, this cabin located at the front of the aircraft offers a superior privacy experience. Air France has paid attention to every detail in its design. From full-grain leather to soft wool, the finest raw materials have been carefully selected for these new suites, manufactured in France by STELIA Aerospace. Its unique design was conceived by the airline in collaboration with the Design Investment studio and the SGK Brandimage agency.

The cabin is revealed in a harmony of colours, dominated by shades of grey, with leather finishes on the seats and fabrics created exclusively for La Première. To add character and distinction, touches of red punctuate the space like a haute couture signature.

The ensemble is enhanced by satin champagne-coloured metallic details, which highlight each of the finishes, while the dark carpet adds lightness and fluidity to the whole, creating a floating effect.

To give the cabin an unobstructed height and an unprecedented feeling of space, the boot compartments have been replaced by storage spaces in the floor. A large sliding drawer can hold up to two cabin bags, and there is a second drawer under the chaise longue for storing shoes. Near the seat, there is a space with a backlit mirror for personal items. The suite also has an individual wardrobe.

Light, omnipresent, plays an essential role in this exceptional setting. The five windows bathe the space in natural light, creating a relaxing atmosphere, and are equipped with translucent or opaque electric blinds. The lighting system, consisting of two lamps adorned with Air France’s winged seahorse, is available in wall and floor versions, while ambient lighting subtly accompanies each phase of the flight.

On board, technology and comfort come together to deliver a truly connected travel experience. Each guest has two 32-inch 4K screens at their disposal, allowing them to enjoy more than 1,500 hours of entertainment in optimal conditions from their armchair, chaise longue or bed, with noise-cancelling headphones always available and the option to pair their own headphones or earphones to the screens via Bluetooth. There are also 110 V/220 V power sockets, USB A and USB C ports, as well as induction charging slots and a smartphone or tablet holder that allows you to get the most out of your personal devices. Free Wi-Fi is available during the journey. In the near future, the airline will offer a new broadband connectivity package across its entire fleet for an ‘at home’ experience, replacing the service currently available*.

The suite is intuitively controlled from a wireless touchscreen tablet. With just the touch of a finger, you can adjust the angle of the seat, the chaise longue or the bed, as well as the various lighting options and window blinds. It is also easy to navigate through all the features on the two available screens.

The La Première experience begins before you fly

Air France’s commitment to excellence is reflected in a whole chain of exclusive services that begins before you even board the aircraft. At the airport, La Première passengers have their own space, elegantly decorated in line with Didier Lefort’s design standards. At the same time, Sisley treatments are offered in the wellness area, following an exclusive anti-jet lag protocol designed specifically by Air France. From this area at the airport, travellers avoid tedious security and immigration checks, as they have their own. And at the time of boarding, each traveller is taken by car with a private driver directly to the runway, avoiding the inconvenience of passenger queues and waiting times. Once on board, each customer receives a Sisley amenity kit and pyjamas designed by Maison Jacquemus.

The renowned French cuisine is also present in the skies, as Air France has been collaborating for years with the best three-Michelin-star chefs, who have won more than 30 awards between them and whose menus vary according to the destination. For La Première, Alain Ducasse, the chef with the most Michelin stars in the world, has designed the menus for this exclusive VIP lounge, which is served by his own team. Everything is served with Christofle silver cutlery on Bernardaud Limoges porcelain plates.

Throughout 2025, this exclusive cabin is being introduced on flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to New York-JFK, Los Angeles, Singapore, Tokyo-Haneda, Abidjan, Dubai, Miami, San Francisco, Sao Paulo and Washington.

Air France’s La Première represents the meeting of an exceptional heritage, preserved and perpetuated since 1933, and an uninterrupted quest for excellence. Each stage of the journey offers exceptional service for a tailor-made experience. A spacious VIP lounge at the airport, a private suite on board, three-star cuisine, a carefully selected wine and champagne list, peaceful nights at 35,000 feet… every moment is enhanced to make the journey an unforgettable experience.

By reinventing this product, which is an integral part of its DNA, Air France is taking a new step in its evolution towards the premium category.
