LE MAX EL LAGO CLUB IS EMBRACING ITS FIRST SUMMER WITH A CONCEPT THAT COMBINES WELLBEING, SPORT AND SOCIAL LIFE

Le Max El Lago Club afronta su primer verano con una propuesta que integra bienestar, deporte y vida social
  • Located in Benahavís, on the outskirts of Marbella, the club offers wellness, fitness, golf, racket sports, water sports, dining and family facilities, all set around a lake.

Le Max El Lago Club is embarking on its first full season this summer as a space designed to integrate wellbeing, physical activity, recovery and leisure within a single setting. Situated in Real de La Quinta, Benahavís, the club centres its offering around a lake and limits its membership to a maximum of 450 members.

The concept behind Le Max El Lago Club is based on a holistic approach to wellbeing. Unlike models focused solely on access to a gym, a spa or sports facilities, the club combines personalised assessment, exercise, recovery, body care, nutrition and hydration to tailor the experience to each individual’s needs and goals.

Its wellness area features a 25-metre heated indoor swimming pool overlooking the lake, a hydrotherapy circuit, a 40-degree hot tub, a 7-degree cryotherapy pool, a sauna and a hammam. The offering is rounded off with massages, lymphatic drainage, body and facial treatments, Indiba technology and a studio dedicated to yoga, hot yoga and Pilates.

In terms of sports facilities, Le Max El Lago Club has a gym equipped for strength training, mobility work, functional training and cross-training, featuring specialist brands such as Technogym, Eleiko, Woodway, Wattbike, Booty Builder and AlterG. Members can combine individual sessions, personal training and group classes with outdoor sports activities.

The outdoor facilities include a six-hole Executive Golf Course, designed for both quick rounds and practice, as well as two tennis courts and two padel courts. The lake is directly integrated into the club’s activities through experiences such as kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and water bikes.

The natural setting is one of the project’s key distinguishing features. The lake, the beach and the landscape connect the different areas, allowing members to alternate between training, recovery, leisure and relaxation without leaving the club. The experience is aimed both at those seeking to improve their physical performance and at those who wish to stay active, prevent aches and pains or devote time to their wellbeing.

Cuisine, community and families

The experience is rounded off by the culinary offering at Saltao, a project by Azotea Grupo, which brings to Marbella a contemporary culinary concept based on a Peruvian-Mediterranean fusion. Creative, ingredient-led cuisine, designed to blend with the surroundings and enhance the experience in the unique natural setting of Real de La Quinta. The menu is curated by Víctor and Paula Gutiérrez, who run Tayta in Salamanca, the only Peruvian restaurant in Spain to hold a Michelin star.

The club also features a supervised children’s play area, allowing adults and children to enjoy the facilities at the same time and spend the day together in the same setting.

The limit of 450 members is in line with the aim of ensuring the availability of spaces, personalised service and the quality of the experience. Alongside annual and seasonal memberships, Le Max El Lago Club offers various access options, including the Family & Friends scheme and the Day Pass, which allows visitors to explore its main facilities and activities over the course of a day.

Real de La Quinta, a destination at one with nature

Covering an area of nearly two million square metres, Real de La Quinta has been designed as a lifestyle destination at one with nature, where housing, sport, wellbeing and amenities coexist within the same environment.

The launch of Le Max El Lago Club represents one of the most significant milestones since the project began and marks a turning point in the development of this sustainable residential resort, which is now approximately 50 per cent complete.

With this first full summer under its belt, Le Max El Lago Club is cementing an offering that brings together some of the key current trends in wellbeing and lifestyle: personalisation, physical recovery, connection with nature, active leisure and a sense of community.3
