- Leonardo Hotels, together with its technology partner Duve, announces a collaboration with HBX Group (HBX.SM), a global leader in hotel distribution, through its Civitfun technology platform, which specialises in the comprehensive digitisation of the check-in process and guest experience.
- The three companies have unveiled the first development in Europe that enables automatic online check-in via a B2B connection, setting a new standard in hotel digitalisation.
This innovation also allows guests coming from B2B channels to complete the online check-in process automatically, seamlessly and securely, directly connecting distribution systems with the guest experience platform and hotel operating systems, raising their technological level to that of the website itself. The result is a more fluid experience for the customer and a significant improvement in operational efficiency.
The project reinforces Leonardo Hotels’ strategy of focusing on technology, automation, technological operability and continuous improvement of the guest experience, once again positioning the company as a European benchmark in hotel innovation.
Duve has been key in the development of the solution, contributing its automation and digital guest experience management technology, while HBX Group has made the direct connection to the B2B channel possible through Civitfun, enabling this level of operational integration between distribution and hotel.
This project represents a real breakthrough for the hotel sector. Being the first in Europe to activate automatic online check-in on both B2C and B2B channels demonstrates our firm commitment to innovation that brings real value, is easily replicable in other markets and improves both the customer experience and business efficiency, says Shay Raz, Managing Director of Leonardo Hotels Spain & Portugal. ‘Thanks to this integration, we now offer a fully automated online check-in experience to around 80% of our guests.’
With this strategic collaboration, Leonardo Hotels, Duve and HBX Group are setting a new technological standard in European hospitality, opening the door to future integrations that naturally connect distribution, operations and the digital guest experience.
