The 398-room hotel is closing temporarily and will reopen, fully refurbished, in the spring of 2027.
The Leonardo Hotels chain has announced the temporary closure of its Leonardo Hotel Torremolinos Costa del Sol to begin its comprehensive refurbishment. The project will modernise all the spaces and facilities at this 398-room hotel, which joined the chain last April, bringing its value proposition into line with the brand’s standards of excellence, service and comfort.
The hotel is scheduled to reopen in May 2027, when it will resume operations with all its facilities fully refurbished. By then, it will be ready to welcome guests and kick off the summer season in one of Spain’s most sought-after tourist destinations, both nationally and internationally: the Costa del Sol.
In addition to its nearly four hundred rooms spread over eight floors, this hotel features a large outdoor swimming pool, a heated indoor pool, a gym and a restaurant. It also boasts an exclusive rooftop Sky Bar with panoramic views of the Mediterranean, and is one of the few establishments in Torremolinos offering facilities for corporate events and social celebrations.
Leonardo Hotels owns another hotel in the province of Málaga, the Leonardo Hotel Fuengirola Costa del Sol.
