MERCEDES-BENZ CELEBRA 140 AÑOS DE INNOVACIÓN CONSTANTE EN LA NUEVA EDICIÓN DE MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK MADRID BAJO LA FILOSOFÍA “WELCOME HOME”
  • Mercedes-Benz is celebrating its 31st edition as the main sponsor and naming partner of the country’s most important fashion show, reaffirming its long-standing commitment to designer fashion.

  • Coinciding with its 140 years of innovation, its ‘Welcome Home’ philosophy is being brought to the Nebrija University Campus of Communication and Arts, the new venue for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, from Wednesday 16 to Saturday 19 September.

  • Furthermore, the brand with the star logo reaffirms its commitment to Spanish fashion and celebrates the second edition of the Mercedes-Benz Award for Best Collection, the winner of which will be announced on the evening of Friday 18 September.

Mercedes-Benz continues to support Spanish fashion as the main sponsor of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, consolidating a partnership that is now in its 31st edition. From Monday 14th to Saturday 19th September, the capital once again becomes the hub of the national fashion scene, in an edition that also features a significant change: IFEMA is no longer the venue for Madrid Fashion Week, which has moved to various locations across the city.

Furthermore, as the official transport partner for the catwalk shows, Mercedes-Benz will make its 100 per cent electric fleet available to designers, guests and VIPs throughout the week, thereby reflecting its commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility.

Over the course of these six days, established designers and emerging voices in Spanish fashion will present their creations in venues such as the Arganzuela Greenhouse and the Crystal Gallery at the Palacio de Cibeles, before rounding off the week at the Nebrija University Campus of Communication and Arts, where the main Mercedes-Benz stand is located in the new Cibelespacio. This line-up transforms Madrid into a major fashion stage and reinforces Mercedes-Benz’s connection with an industry in which, just as in the automotive sector, design and innovation are an essential part of its evolution.

140 years of innovation under the ‘Welcome Home’ philosophy

Mercedes-Benz continues to celebrate a historic milestone: 140 years of shaping the future of mobility since the invention of the motor car in 1886, combining tradition, cutting-edge design, innovation and advanced technology. A legacy that ties in directly with “Welcome Home”, a philosophy rooted in a clear idea: a Mercedes-Benz should make you feel at home.

This vision inspires Mercedes-Benz’s own space at the new Communications and Arts Campus of Nebrija University, which will be open to visitors from Wednesday 16th to Saturday 19th September. With architecture based on the iconic silhouette of a roof that shelters and protects, this space combines greenery, outdoor areas and home furnishings to create a genuinely warm, liveable and relaxed atmosphere.

The space will also feature a craft workshop in collaboration with Manufaktur, Mercedes-Benz’s personalisation programme based on the ‘Made to Measure’ philosophy. In partnership with BICO, a contemporary jewellery and craft firm, attendees will be able to become artisans for a day and create their own personalised charm, choosing and combining different elements to produce a unique piece. The workshop will take place over three days, with one session each day on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Mercedes-Benz, the official vehicle of the fashion show

As the main sponsor and official vehicle of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, Mercedes-Benz will once again be providing transport for designers, guests and VIPs throughout fashion week. An exclusive, 100 per cent electric fleet that reflects the brand’s commitment to more innovative and sustainable mobility, once again bringing together two worlds in which design, technology and attention to every detail take centre stage.

The Mercedes-Benz Award for Best Collection celebrates its second edition

The Mercedes-Benz Award for Best Collection celebrates its second edition, recognising creative excellence and quality amongst the 23 established fashion houses presenting their collections for the Spring/Summer 2027 season. In its first edition, held in March 2026, the award went to MANS, the fashion house of Seville-based designer Jaime Álvarez.

With this second edition of the award, Mercedes-Benz continues to reinforce its commitment to Spanish fashion and to designer fashion ‘made in Spain’, helping to highlight the creativity, excellence and evolution of the Spanish fashion industry.
