- Last Friday, 22nd, the President of the Community of Madrid, Her Excellency Ms Isabel Díaz Ayuso, brought the company’s 20th-anniversary commemorative event to a close at its headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes.
- The event was attended by prominent figures, including the German Ambassador to Spain, Her Excellency Ms Maria Margarete Gosse, as well as company executives, including Gerrit-Michael Dülks, Vice-President of Mercedes-Benz Group Finance; Katrin Lehmann, Head of IT at Mercedes-Benz Group AG; Daniel Geisel, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation; and Birgit Preusch, Head of Finance Operations, who were accompanied throughout by the CEO of Mercedes-Benz Group Services Madrid, Juan Guerrero.
Mercedes-Benz Group Services Madrid (MBGSM) successfully held its event to mark its 20th anniversary, a milestone that reflects two decades of commitment to excellence, innovation and creating value for the Mercedes-Benz Group and the Spanish economy.
The event was opened by the CEO of Mercedes-Benz Group Services Madrid, Juan Guerrero, who emphasised that; “As we celebrate this 20th anniversary, we do so not with complacency, but with our sights and energy set firmly on the future. Our ambition is to continue developing our business with the same entrepreneurial, innovative and visionary spirit as the founders of our company 20 years ago, the same spirit that characterised the founding fathers of Mercedes-Benz who, 140 years ago, invented the car and thereby revolutionised the concept of personal and collective mobility forever.”4
For his part, Gerrit-Michael Dülks, Vice-President of Mercedes-Benz Group Finance, stated: “What really sets companies apart from one another is the team, and today here in San Sebastián de los Reyes, we have been able to witness the immense quality, diversity and excellence of a team that interacts and works with an outward-looking perspective.”
Next, it was the turn of the German Ambassador to Spain, Her Excellency Ms Maria Margarete Gosse, who highlighted in her own words; “Today we are celebrating 20 years of a company committed to society. The Mercedes-Benz brand is synonymous with quality and excellence, and wherever you go in the world, that star reflects these values. We wish Mercedes-Benz Group Services Madrid a happy 20th anniversary and a future full of success.”
To bring the event to a close, the President of the Community of Madrid, Her Excellency Ms Isabel Díaz Ayuso, took the floor and emphasised: “This company, with nearly 1,000 employees of over 40 nationalities and a commitment to providing a global service, reflects the spirit of our Madrid society—a spirit open to the outside world and always welcoming, which embraces, drives and fosters the performance of a society full of ambition. I wish Mercedes-Benz Group Services Madrid a happy 20th anniversary.”
