Some people see holidays as an opportunity to switch off completely. For them, luxury is not measured solely by the facilities but by privacy, space and attention to detail. It was with this philosophy in mind that the MSC Yacht Club was created – MSC Cruises’ most exclusive offering.
Described by the company as a genuine “yacht within a ship”, this concept offers a private setting where guests can enjoy the tranquillity and service of a private yacht without missing out on the full range of dining, leisure and entertainment options available on a large cruise ship. Passengers have access to a restricted area via a card and can enjoy spaces designed to ensure a more intimate and personalised experience.
From the moment you arrive, everything is designed to make your journey as easy as possible. Passengers enjoy a 24-hour butler and concierge service, priority boarding and disembarkation, a premium drinks package, unlimited Wi-Fi and included access to the thermal area at the MSC Aurea Spa. In addition, they have reserved seats in the theatre and receive personalised service throughout their time on board.
MSC Yacht Club in the MSC Cruises fleet
The MSC Fantasia was the company’s first ship to feature the MSC Yacht Club in 2008. Since then, this concept has been gradually rolled out across the fleet, becoming one of the most highly rated options amongst travellers seeking a premium experience at sea.
The most recent expansion is taking place on the Musica-class vessels. Following its introduction on the MSC Poesia and MSC Magnifica, the MSC Musica and MSC Orchestra will be the next to debut this space after completing their respective refurbishments in late 2026 and during the first quarter of 2027. Once the process is complete, MSC Yacht Club will be present on 19 vessels in the fleet.
At the same time, MSC Cruises has begun refurbishing the MSC Yacht Club restaurants on the Fantasia-class ships. The new design embraces a more contemporary and elegant aesthetic, with open-plan spaces, warm materials and a greater visual connection to the sea. MSC Splendida was the first ship to undergo this refurbishment, which will be rolled out progressively on MSC Fantasia, MSC Divina and MSC Preziosa.
One of the most notable milestones will come with MSC World Asia. MSC Cruises’ new flagship will feature the largest selection of MSC Yacht Club suites to date: 144 accommodation options across seven different categories, including the new Royal Duplex Suite, designed on two levels and accommodating up to six guests.
Facilities and dining options
The focal point and heart of the MSC Yacht Club is the Top Sail Lounge, an elegant lounge with large windows overlooking the ocean, where it’s easy to while away the hours with a quiet read, a cocktail or a snack whilst gazing out at the horizon.
Outside, passengers have access to a spacious private terrace featuring a swimming pool, hydromassage facilities, relaxation areas and a sun deck. The venue is rounded off with a Grill & Bar serving breakfast, lunch and casual outdoor dining options throughout the day.
The dining experience continues at the MSC Yacht Club’s exclusive restaurant. Its menu changes daily and combines Mediterranean and international dishes in a more intimate setting than the ship’s other restaurants. In addition, passengers can rely on a sommelier’s recommendation to pair each meal with a selection of wines tailored to their preferences.
A private retreat on the high seas
The MSC Yacht Club suites are situated in a private area of the ship and have been designed as spaces where guests can enjoy greater tranquillity and privacy. In addition to the spacious interiors, there are welcoming touches such as fresh fruit, sweets, Venchi artisan chocolates and a complimentary bottle of premium spirits of the passenger’s choice. In addition, for personal care, the bathrooms are equipped with cotton bathrobes, slippers and the exclusive MED by MSC range of organic toiletries, created specifically for MSC Yacht Club guests.
The range extends from elegant interior suites to some of the most exclusive cabins in the entire fleet. These include the Owner’s Suites, with large private terraces, a jacuzzi and outdoor relaxation areas, and the duplex suites spread over two levels, designed for those seeking an even more unique experience during their voyage.
Tailor-made excursions
On land, the exclusive experience continues with bespoke excursions designed for small groups, ranging from local culinary workshops and architectural tours to experiences focused on wellbeing or premium adventure. Passengers can choose from a range of these excursion options.

MSC Yacht Club in every corner
During the 2026/2027 winter season, MSC Fantasia will introduce the MSC Yacht Club experience to the Canary Islands for the first time. From 13 December 2026, the ship will operate seven-night cruises departing from Tenerife and calling at Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, La Palma and Madeira. Furthermore, this exclusive service is complemented by the Fly & Cruise packages, which include flights from six Spanish cities and the option to stay overnight in Tenerife before boarding.
In the western Mediterranean, MSC World Asia will operate seven-night cruises from Barcelona from 4 December 2026, calling at Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia (Rome), Messina and Valletta. For its part, MSC Splendida will continue to sail on Mediterranean itineraries in both winter and summer. And if you opt for the Eastern Mediterranean, the MSC Orchestra will make its debut with its new MSC Yacht Club from Bari in March 2027, sailing to Turkey (Istanbul and Izmir) and Greece (Athens and Corfu).
On the other side of the Atlantic, MSC Musica will sail around South America between November 2026 and April 2027, offering itineraries to Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Punta del Este, concluding with a 16-night transatlantic crossing to Genoa.
But MSC Yacht Club has also broadened its horizons with a unique experience aboard the MSC World Cruise 2026. The fact is that, last January, the MSC Magnifica achieved a historic milestone for the cruise line by offering the MSC Yacht Club experience for the first time over a 132-day voyage, during which passengers had the opportunity to visit 46 destinations in 33 countries across five continents. This itinerary included stopovers in Madeira, the Caribbean, South America, the United States, idyllic islands such as Samoa and Fiji, New Zealand, China, Vietnam, Dubai and Jordan, amongst many other destinations.
And beyond the sea, the MSC Yacht Club also made its mark on land at the 2026 FORMULA 1® CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX, where MSC Cruises brought the concept to the circuit via a five-deck, 3,000 m² installation situated between turns 5 and 9 of the Miami International Autodrome. Guests were able to enjoy a range of exclusive spaces embodying the essence of the MSC Yacht Club, including nine private cabins, numerous terraces and relaxation areas, swimming pools, all-day service, a Chef’s Table experience at Bagatelle, the Jack Daniel’s Lounge and a viewing platform offering 360-degree panoramic views of the circuit.
