REFRESHER COURSE FOR OFFICIAL TOUR GUIDES AT THE PICASSO MUSEUM IN MÁLAGA

  • The Museo Picasso Málaga is organising a new training course aimed at official tour guides who already hold accreditation from the Museo Picasso Málaga and need to renew it for the period 2026-2028.

 

  • This training will enable professionals to continue their work as mediators between the works on display in the museum and visitors.

 

  • The programme includes updated information on the permanent exhibition Pablo Picasso: Structures of Invention.

 

  • The Unity of a Work and upcoming temporary exhibitions, as well as the museum’s cultural programme.

 

  • The course, which is compulsory and must be attended in person, will be held in the Christine Ruiz-Picasso Auditorium and consists of a one-and-a-half-hour session.

 

  • It is offered on different days and at different times to facilitate attendance by participants: 26 and 27 January from 5 to 6.30 pm, and 5 and 6 February from 10 to 11.30 am.

 

  • Registration is free and can now be completed on the Museo Picasso Málaga website.

Since its opening in 2003, the Museo Picasso Málaga has maintained close collaboration with professional tour guides, regularly organising free courses that allow them to update their knowledge of Picasso and his work, as well as other artists featured in temporary exhibitions. This training helps to enrich the experience of the thousands of visitors who visit its galleries each year. On this occasion, the training is aimed at official tour guides who already hold accreditation, so that they can continue their work of mediating between the work and the public during the period 2026-2028.

The course consists of a one-and-a-half-hour session, which can be taken on 26 and 27 January in the afternoon, from 5 to 6.30 pm, and on 5 and 6 February in the morning, from 10 to 11.30 am. The course programme includes information about the permanent exhibition Pablo Picasso: Structures of Invention. The Unity of a Work.
