From 8 to 25 October, the Las Rozas Multipurpose Centre will host a wide selection of Galician produce, with seafood taking centre stage.
Galicia is once again coming to Madrid through one of its greatest culinary icons: seafood. From 8 to 25 October, with free entry, the Las Rozas Multipurpose Centre – also known as the bullring – will host a new edition of the Seafood Fair, a must-attend event to enjoy some of the most representative products of Galician cuisine.
Organised by the Galician company Degustación DEMAR, in collaboration with Las Rozas Town Council, the fair will offer a culinary programme spanning more than two weeks, with Galician seafood taking centre stage, highlighting the quality and variety of the produce.
Throughout the event, visitors will be able to enjoy an experience centred on the flavours of Galicia and discover different products and dishes in a festive, welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere.
Seafood, one of the hallmarks of Galician cuisine, will take centre stage at an event that aims to introduce the public to the culinary richness of this region and transform Las Rozas into a meeting place for lovers of seafood. The menu will include a variety of dishes, ranging from fried and grilled items to boiled seafood and rice dishes, accompanied by artisan breads and a varied drinks menu.
The fair will be open from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm and from 7.00 pm to 10.30 pm from Monday to Thursday, extending on Fridays and Saturdays until 11.00 pm, thus making it easier for the public to visit at midday, in the afternoon and in the evening.
In addition, a lunch for around 400 senior citizens is planned during the fair, to be attended by the Mayor of Las Rozas alongside representatives from various media outlets.
With this new edition, Degustación DEMAR and Las Rozas Town Council are once again bringing Galician cuisine to the town, inviting both the residents of Las Rozas and visitors from other parts of the Community of Madrid to enjoy an event centred on Galician produce, seafood and flavours.
