Spain in Bloom, a club that brings together the main destinations with flowering crops or wildflowers, is consolidating itself as a tourist product with the launch of the “Spain from Flower to Flower Tour.”
This is a tour that aims to encourage the exchange of visitors between the participating flowering destinations, reinforcing their promotion and creating a cohesive, attractive tourist product that is available throughout the year.
This year, the initiative emphasizes downloading and using the official España en floración app, a key tool for participating in the tour. In addition to facilitating the search for information related to this type of tourism, it offers a very simple interactive activity: visitors must take a photo of themselves at any of the participating blooms, so that the app can automatically geolocate them and verify their presence in the area. They then have to upload the image to the platform and the user will be registered as a participant.
Users who visit at least three blooms will receive a promotional gift, while those who complete four or more will be eligible for a grand prize draw for a tourist package for two people, which will include a guided bloom route, a meal in a restaurant, and rural accommodation.
The blooms included in the “Tour España de flor en flor” for 2026 are: Moratalla, Mula, Brihuega, Cieza, Trevinca (heather), Aitona, Valle de Ricote (orange blossom), Oria, Tiedra, Castillo de Locubín, and the pacharán navarro area.
Currently, Spain in Bloom brings together 17 flowering destinations in the country and is a new way to discover our country through the beauty of its colorful nature. Its originality was recognized at FITUR 2025 with the Award for Best Active Tourism Product in Spain.
Another new feature this year is the addition of orange blossom in the Ricote Valley, a historic region in the Region of Murcia, which combines landscape, agricultural heritage, and unique sensory experiences.
With this new addition, Spain in Bloom strengthens its identity as a living, collaborative, and constantly growing network, demonstrating a true commitment to sustainable tourism and the creation of economic opportunities for rural destinations.
