- Subaru is reviving its most intrepid legacy with the launch of the new Crosstrek 4Wild, a model that draws directly on a history marked by vehicles with strong personalities.
- This new model, limited to 100 units, combines character with a powertrain that has already established itself as a benchmark thanks to its AWD all-wheel-drive system and e-BOXER hybrid technology.
The new Crosstrek 4Wild features a more striking design that primarily combines black and orange. The front end, with its mesh-style grille, three-dimensional LED headlights and raised bonnet, is finished with a vinyl graphic featuring the 4Wild motif – a mountain design symbolising the brand’s adventurous spirit. On the sides, bespoke trim with vinyl on the upper section, vinyl on the C-pillar and the 4Wild logo on the front door complement the model’s rugged design. The rear is distinguished by the roofline sloping down over the tailgate, with black vinyl surrounding the brand logo, a dedicated load area protector, LED lights and its characteristic rear bumper. And to top it all off, the Crosstrek 4Wild is fitted with 18-inch black alloy wheels with an orange accent, which complete the exterior design.
The interior, which adopts a functional, driver-oriented approach, features an 11.6-inch Full HD central touchscreen, modular rear seats and a spacious load area with up to 1,314 litres of boot capacity. Furthermore, door frame decals, rubber floor mats and a 4Wild-style steering wheel have been developed specifically for this special edition.
Under the bonnet, as one would expect from a Subaru, the Crosstrek 4Wild features permanent symmetrical AWD, which guarantees stability, control and immediate response on any surface, alongside e-BOXER hybrid technology. The hybrid powertrain incorporates a 2.0-litre four-cylinder Boxer engine delivering 153 CV of maximum power and 248 Nm of torque, optimising efficiency and performance. The seven-speed Lineartronic transmission with an integrated electric motor offers a compact and lightweight system, whilst the 22 cm ground clearance and its approach, breakover and departure angles reinforce its off-road capability.
Based on the Crosstrek’s Field and Touring trim levels, this exclusive 4Wild version is available from €36,300.
