THE MAM FASHION FORUM REINFORCES ITS IDENTITY AND COMES TO MADRID TO UNVEIL ITS NEW SLOGAN, ‘TIENE MUCHA CALLE’

  • The Malaga Museum of Automobiles and Fashion has unveiled the latest edition at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid.

The MAM Fashion Forum (MFF) has taken the first step towards its fifth edition with an official presentation to the media held as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid (MBFWM), one of Spain’s leading fashion showcases.

The event, which took place at the Málaga de Moda stand at IFEMA, marked the first public appearance of the 5th MAM Fashion Forum, an event that will once again bring together leading figures from the sector at the Málaga Museum of Automobiles and Fashion to reflect on the present and future of the fashion industry.

With this presentation in Madrid, the MFF has strengthened its position on the national stage, taking its initiative to one of the epicentres of Spanish fashion and connecting with the media, professionals and key players in the sector.

The event was attended by Esperanza González, Deputy for Sustainable Economic Development and the Málaga de Moda brand at the Málaga Provincial Council; Pepa Bueno, Director of the Spanish Fashion Creators Association (ACME); Gerard Estadella, photographer and current moderator of the 5MFF; and the co-directors of MAM, Elvira Carrera and Mar González.

The MFF returns to Madrid

In the words of the co-directors of the Museum of Automobiles and Fashion, Elvira Carrera and Mar González, “this presentation in Madrid marks a decisive step in the evolution of the MAM Fashion Forum, bringing us closer to new audiences and strengthening our presence in Spain’s leading fashion venues”.

Gerard Estadella also wished to thank the MAM Fashion Forum “for acting as master of ceremonies” for this edition. Estadella took the opportunity to encourage people to attend the MFF, describing it as a “very interesting event because what we want is for people to get involved in person. Everyone can make contacts and learn”.

‘Tiene mucha calle: the MFF’s new slogan

One of the most significant announcements at this presentation was the adoption of the slogan ‘It’s got real street cred’ as the new tagline for the MAM Fashion Forum, alongside the unveiling of a graphic design conceived as a preview of the upcoming edition. This was an unofficial poster, designed as a strategic tool to generate excitement and open up the visual universe of the 5MFF, marking the start of its narrative and communication campaign.

Beyond any specific edition, this expression has become part of the MFF’s identity as a reflection of a contemporary vision of fashion: a fashion that transcends traditional spaces and finds meaning in everyday life.

The slogan has highlighted the direct relationship between fashion and the street as a space of inspiration, where different styles, influences and ways of understanding aesthetics coexist. In this context, garments from major luxury houses also form part of everyday life, reinterpreted by ordinary people and removed from a use exclusively linked to the catwalk.

As Elvira Carrera and Mar González have pointed out, “with ‘Tiene mucha calle’ we want to reflect a way of understanding fashion that is closer, more real and connected to the way people live and reinterpret garments in their daily lives”.

With this new slogan, the MFF has reinforced its positioning as an open forum, connected to reality and attentive to the changes that are redefining the industry. “And it is precisely this idea that we want to incorporate into the MAM Fashion Forum: an open, contemporary perspective connected to what is happening outside the traditional circuits,” the co-directors have noted.

In the words of Elvira Carrera and Mar González, “we have already begun to announce the first names that will form part of Fashion Month, a programme that will once again bring together talent and leading figures from the sector for a series of events to be held throughout April. Over the coming weeks, we will also be revealing the speakers for the main day of the MAM Fashion Forum”.

Málaga, a hub for fashion

The MAM Fashion Forum will take place on 24 April 2026 at the Málaga Museum of Automobiles and Fashion, cementing the city’s status as a leading venue for dialogue on fashion in southern Europe.

For the co-directors of the MAM, “our goal remains the same: to position Málaga as a hub for fashion, to spark conversation and to create a space where professionals, designers and the public can share knowledge, experiences and new ideas”.

With a growing track record and significant media coverage in previous editions, the forum continues to advance its goal of bringing together professionals, creators and experts to analyse the major issues shaping the present and future of the sector.

The 5th MAM Fashion Forum is an event organised by the Málaga Museum of Automobiles and Fashion, in collaboration with the City of Málaga, Ipsa Ratio and the Spanish Association of Fashion Creators (ACME); and sponsored by the

Department of Tourism and Andalusia Abroad of the Regional Government of Andalusia; Málaga de Moda, the brand affiliated with the Provincial Council of Málaga; Maserati; ESCA Catering; Vídeo Promoción Servicios Audiovisuales; Diario SUR; Cadena SER; Spain Is Excellence (SIE); Grupo Premium; the Catalonia Molina Lario hotel; the Matiz restaurant; the Antonio Eloy School; and the Costa del Sol Higher School of Tourism.
