- The Museo Picasso Málaga is once again organizing its White Week holiday workshops, which coincide with the school break in the city of Málaga. They will take place from February 23 to 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (with an optional playroom from 9 to 10 a.m.).
- Aimed at children aged 4 to 12, and entitled “Al pie de la letra” (To the letter), the workshops will focus on the work of Picasso and Elena Asins on display in the galleries, exploring the relationship between painting, language, and visual writing.
- Reservations can now be made on the website www.museopicassomalaga.org and at the museum ticket office. The price is €100 for the entire workshop or €25 per day.
The White Week holiday workshops return to the Museo Picasso Málaga from February 23 to 27, coinciding with the school holidays in the city of Málaga. They will take place in the morning, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will include an optional playroom service from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. They are aimed at children aged between 4 and 12, who can sign up for the whole workshop or for individual days.
Entitled “Al pie de la letra” (To the letter), the workshop’s educational program is inspired by the exhibitions Pablo Picasso: Structures of Invention. The Unity of a Work, Picasso Memory and Desire, and Elena Asins. Antigone, taking as its starting point the relationship between image and text as creative drivers. In the museum’s galleries, art is presented as a form of thought and visual writing, a system of signs capable of narrating, evoking, and constructing stories.
Over the course of five days, the museum’s paintings, drawings, and sculptures will spark the participants’ imaginations, inviting them to express individual and collective ideas, emotions, and stories through artistic techniques linked to formal experimentation and sensitive observation.
The workshop offers participatory tours in which writing, drawing, and gesture merge to create new creative territories. Pablo Picasso’s work, with its variety of signs, strokes, and forms, will be connected with Elena Asins’ geometric, linguistic, and ethical proposal, expanding on the idea that “drawing is also writing the world.”

The price is €100 for the entire workshop or €25 per day if you wish to attend on individual days (all materials included). A 20% discount is applicable for the second sibling onwards.
