TWO NIGHTS, A ONE-OF-A-KIND EVENT AND AN EXPERIENCE YOU CAN ONLY HAVE AT PRADOREY

Dos noches, una cita única y una experiencia que solo se vive en Pradorey
  • The weekend break from 17 to 19 July invites you to experience Pradorey from the inside: stay at its historic inn surrounded by vineyards, enjoy its culinary delights — including a dinner under the stars —, discover its wines and learn about the project from the Cremades family themselves.

  • The highlight of the break will be the 16th Pradorey Baroque Theatre Festival, which this year features a performance of ‘Farra: between wine, verse and delirium’, a theatrical celebration inspired by the Golden Age that blends theatre, music, circus and humour.

There are summer weekends that are so much more than just a getaway. From 17 to 19 July, La Posada de Pradorey invites you to enjoy a complete experience in the very heart of the Ribera del Duero: two nights in a 17th-century Herrerian mansion built by the Duke of Lerma, wine, fine dining, history, nature and a cultural event that takes place just once a year.

The programme invites you to discover Pradorey from the inside, with the family who own it acting as your hosts. Guests will be able to learn about the project first-hand, explore some of the most unique corners of the estate, enjoy paired-wine dinners in the gardens of La Posada and immerse themselves in a different way of experiencing the Ribera del Duero: more unhurried, more intimate and deeply connected to the local area.

To round off the experience, attendees will be able to enjoy the 16th Pradorey Baroque Theatre Festival, a unique cultural event in the Ribera del Duero. The performances take place in the very same setting where, centuries ago, Lope de Vega himself performed his plays before King Philip III and his court. A stage steeped in history that makes this weekend one of the most unique events of the summer in Castile and León.

Saturday will begin with the ‘Lope de Vega Breakfast’, followed by a wellness workshop. Mid-morning, there will be a visit to the winery — located just 2 km away — where guests will sample some of its wines, guided by Fernando Rodríguez de Rivera Cremades, Pradorey’s managing director. A traditional lunch will be served at Casa Florencio, featuring its authentic roast suckling lamb. And after a well-deserved rest by the pool at La Posada, it’s time to get ready to experience the Baroque Theatre, the highlight of the getaway. This will be followed by a gala dinner with wine pairings.

This unique package – truly one of a kind – starts at €460 per person (for bookings made before 15 June) and includes: two breakfasts, two wine-paired dinners, one lunch, two nights’ accommodation, a visit to the Church of San Andrés, a tour of the winery, a wine tasting led by the owners, and exclusive access to the theatre with priority entry.

This year’s production

The piece chosen for this 16th Baroque Theatre Festival is ‘Farra: between wine, verse and delirium’, a groundbreaking production by the Lucas Escobedo theatre company, inspired by the Golden Age and drawn from fragments by authors such as Lope de Vega, Agustín de Rojas and María de Zayas. A performance that blends theatre, music, circus, humour and acrobatics into a surprising and energetic show that moves the audience, makes them laugh, and has won the 2025 Max Award for Best Lyrical Musical Show.
