Music and theatre will provide the soundtrack to this sunset on the Golden Mile.
On 19 September, Finca Villacreces will bid farewell to summer with its annual Villacreces Sunset event, an encounter with nature as seen through the sunset amongst vineyards and centuries-old pine trees, right in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. With Villacreces Sunset, the winery also welcomes autumn with a special event that delights with its sunset amidst vineyards and wines.
Villacreces is an estate where nature takes centre stage. Its forests of centuries-old pine trees and the River Duero surround the vineyard, the chosen venue for Villacreces Sunset.
An idyllic setting that looks even more stunning at dusk, as the sun sinks below the horizon. A magnificent spectacle that wine lovers will be able to enjoy once again on Saturday, 19 September, from 6.00 pm.
The three-hour event will allow guests to explore the vineyards, witness the preparations for the grape harvest and take a tour of the winery.
Finca Villacreces will open its doors from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm to share one of the most beautiful sunsets on the Ribera del Duero’s ‘Golden Mile’ of wine. Furthermore, this year, during Villacreces Sunset, guests will be able to enjoy a theatrical performance by the Deseo Teatro theatre company.
At 7.00 pm, Valladolid-born artist Rocío Torío, a former contestant on *Operación Triunfo*, will delight the audience with her voice, renowned for its authenticity, technique and expressiveness.
Tickets can be purchased via the website: www.villacreces.com. They cost €30.00 and include admission to the performances, a glass of wine, as well as a tasting of Iberian ham and cured meats from the Alhándiga de Salamanca brand and sweets from El Toro, a brand with six generations of confectioners using century-old recipes.
The lawn surrounding the winery is the perfect spot to enjoy the wines, the cuisine and the opportunity nature offers to experience this live performance in a unique wine-tourism setting. We recommend bringing a blanket so you can settle down on the lawn in front of the stage.
