Zhen (Paseo de la Castellana, 179. Madrid. Tel. 91 057 51 85), the great temple of Chinese haute cuisine in the heart of Paseo de la Castellana, is joining in the Chinese New Year celebrations, which begin on 17 February, with a special menu that is available until 3 March, allowing diners to discover the most representative flavours of this ancient festival associated with prosperity, abundance and good omens.
This special menu is part of China Taste, an initiative that brings together some of the best Chinese restaurants in Spain to welcome this holiday, which this year corresponds to the Year of the Horse, a symbol of energy, strength and new beginnings. In addition, from 13 to 22 February, Zhen will accompany the gastronomic experience with special cocktails and traditional live shows, reinforcing the festive and cultural character of this time of year. The menu is priced at €62 per person (minimum 2 people).

Zhen, a journey through China's haute cuisine
Zhen is the flagship restaurant of the Dragon Taste group, the largest Chinese restaurant group in Madrid, with over 30 years of experience. Housed in a spectacular three-storey venue next to Plaza Castilla, it offers a culinary tour of China’s great regional cuisines — Cantonese, Shanghainese, Sichuanese and Pekingese — with such renowned dishes as fruit-wood-roasted Peking duck, handmade dim sum, steamed specialities, traditional stir-fries and soups, and the most unusual meats and fish.
With a capacity for 300 people distributed across two large dining rooms, two bars and eight private rooms, it has become a meeting point for both the local public and the Chinese community, who particularly value the authenticity of its offering. The average price on the menu starts at €35, with group menus from €50 and, during the week, a full daily menu for €19.50 and an executive menu for €29.50. Zhen is open every day from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
