- Since January, in collaboration with the historic San Ginés chocolate shop, the restaurant has been offering a chocolate fondue served with churros, fresh fruit and marshmallows.
- This new addition joins its renowned Swiss and French cheese fondue, offering yet another reason to enjoy and rediscover the pleasure of long after-dinner conversations.
After welcoming winter with its cheese fondue, La Fonda Lironda once again turns the table into a meeting point with a new offering designed for those with a sweet tooth. The restaurant presents its chocolate fondue, in collaboration with the historic San Ginés chocolate shop, a sweet experience to share that combines tradition, pleasure and the welcoming spirit that defines La Fonda Lironda.
The chocolate fondue is accompanied by a careful selection of accompaniments: fresh fruit, marshmallows and, as the stars of the show, the unmistakable churros from San Ginés, one of Madrid’s great gastronomic icons.
This new addition joins the already renowned cheese fondue that La Fonda Lironda will offer during the winter. Served in a cast-iron caquelon, it combines three cheeses, Appenzeller, raw milk Raclette and Comté Vielle Réserve, and is accompanied by cooked vegetables, artisan breads, diced beef confit, butifarra del perol sausage and pickles.
The proposal completes the universe of experiences that La Fonda Lironda has designed for the colder months, focusing on cuisine for sharing and those moments that linger beyond the last dish. Chocolate fondue thus becomes the perfect excuse to end a meal, accompany a dinner or enjoy a relaxed moment among friends.
The restaurant also invites you to linger over the table with board games that encourage you to stay a little longer. A way to enjoy winter in Madrid, rediscovering the pleasure of long, unhurried gatherings.
With this new offering, La Fonda Lironda reaffirms its commitment to proposals that combine gastronomy, tradition and leisure, consolidating itself as a space where every visit becomes a shared and memorable experience.
