LI-ONNA PRESENTS ITS EXECUTIVE MENU: A NEW WAY TO ENJOY ITS JAPANESE-LATIN AMERICAN CUISINE AT LUNCHTIME DURING THE WEEK

  • Li-Onna, the Japanese restaurant with a Latin flair located in Madrid’s Salamanca district, presents its new business lunch menu, designed for those who work or are in the area and wish to enjoy its cuisine during the week in a quick and affordable format.

  • Available Monday to Friday from 1pm to 5pm for €28, the set menu allows guests to choose a starter, main course, dessert and drink, bringing together some of the restaurant’s signature dishes in a complete dining experience tailored to the city’s pace.

  • Under the concept of ‘fine dining without the fuss’, Li-Onna offers a formula that combines speed, quality and culinary character. Despite its streamlined weekday menu format, the offering maintains a focus on high-quality proteins – both fish and meat – to provide a complete, balanced meal designed to leave you fully satisfied.

Right on Calle Recoletos, in the heart of the Salamanca district, Li-Onna has established itself as one of the most unique venues on Madrid’s gastronomic scene. Its concept – Japanese cuisine with a Latin soul – has turned this restaurant into a meeting place for those seeking more than just fine dining: design, atmosphere, music and a whole experience with its own distinct identity.

Now, Li-Onna brings that same spirit to lunchtime with its executive set menu, designed for those who work in the area and want to enjoy a fine meal during the week without long waits. Available Monday to Friday from 1pm to 5pm for €28, the set menu offers a complete meal including a starter, main course, dessert and a drink, allowing diners to discover some of the restaurant’s most iconic dishes in a quick and balanced format.

The selection of starters includes creations that reflect the restaurant’s culinary character, such as Beef Tataki, Hamachi Tacos, Tuna Tostada, Crispy Prawns and Seafood Rice – dishes where Japanese technique meets nods and nuances of Latin inspiration.

Among the main courses, the menu focuses on dishes where protein and the quality of the ingredients take centre stage, reaffirming that, even in an executive menu format, the offering is designed to provide a complete and satisfying meal. A standout is the Gochugaru Salmon, made with top-quality Norwegian salmon accompanied by pickled onion and avocado, a combination that enhances the freshness and character of the dish. Also worth noting is the Josper Sirloin, sourced from Simmental cattle, a particularly juicy cut cooked in the Josper oven to intensify its full flavour. These options are complemented by a selection of sushi, including the Salmon Uramaki and the Spicy Tuna Roll, two dishes that reflect the balance between Japanese technique and the restaurant’s own culinary identity.

The sweet finale includes a choice of dessert or coffee, with options such as Ube Cake, Chunky Monkey, Miso Sticky Toffee Pudding, Li-Onna Cheesecake, Banana Yuzu Cake, Chocolate Cake or Mochis, as well as sorbet or ice cream.

The menu is rounded off with a soft drink, water or a glass of Mahou, creating an offering designed for those seeking a complete, balanced and quick meal without compromising on the restaurant’s culinary character.

At Li-Onna, they describe this offering as unpretentious fine dining: a straightforward and elegant way to enjoy some of their most iconic dishes in a format tailored to the pace of the working week, where the quality of the produce and the prominence of fish and meat guarantee a complete dining experience even in set-menu form.
