This new establishment belonging to the Accor Group has arrived in the capital of Turia, focusing mainly on the corporate and MICE segments, as well as leisure and family.
Located in the former Expo Hotel Valencia building, it opened its doors on 3 February after extensive refurbishment carried out by the architecture and interior design studio Mönica Fullana. Renovation work that respected every detail of Novotel’s ‘Your Time, Your Way’ philosophy, where the guest experience is the priority, as well as its focus on sustainability, following the Accor Group’s high environmental standards, in which it is committed to reducing its carbon footprint and promoting responsible tourism.
Novotel Valencia Lavant, a perfect combination of modernity and comfort
With the signature of the prestigious Sundukovy Sisters studio, renowned for its modern and timeless aesthetic and for its work in cities such as Paris, Liverpool and Amsterdam, the Dubai-based studio’s work gives the hotel a distinctive elegance, blending modernity with traditional elements of Valencian architecture. This is the studio’s first collaboration in Spain.
With eleven floors and a spectacular two-level rooftop, it has 370 rooms, a coffee shop and restaurant, gym, breakfast room, and a large meeting space and coworking area.
Novotel Valencia Lavant is the first hotel equipped with the new Novotel bed, designed to enhance sleep quality and elevate the stay to a premium experience. The rooms are divided into eight different categories: Standard, Superior, Superior Adapted, Superior with two beds, Superior with sofa bed, Executive, Executive with sofa bed and Family. The suites feature a spacious living room, Nespresso coffee machine and Rituals amenities, and, as a new addition, the Alan Roche #5 Legendary Rooms Suite.
The latter will be particularly appealing to football fans. Legendary Rooms is the result of a collaboration between Novotel and Paris Saint Germain, combining the passion of the French club with the hospitality of the hotel chain. This original concept aims to bring to life the legacy of iconic players who have worn the Parisian club’s jersey through immersive hotel rooms located in eight flagship Novotel hotels around the world. Decorated with memorabilia adorning the walls and interactive digital experiences, they showcase the player’s highlights and spirit, turning these rooms into a deep personal connection with each legend. The Legendary Room at Novotel Valencia Lavant is dedicated to Alain Roche, a defender who played for Paris Saint Germain for six seasons.
Every day at Novotel Valencia Lavant begins with a delicious buffet breakfast that is in tune with the ‘Your Time, Your Way’ concept, allowing guests to personalise this moment with healthy options and top-quality local products to start the day with energy.

Papúa Valencia, the restaurant at Novotel Valencia Lavant
Papúa Valencia, part of the Papúa Group, is responsible for the cuisine. With an area of 800 square metres and capacity for 222 diners, Papúa Valencia offers Mediterranean cuisine in which the spotlight is on grilled dishes, rice dishes and a selection of high-quality products, resulting in creations that brim with technique and creativity.
Tropical prints, lush vegetation and iconic Papuan animals integrated into the interior design create an immersive atmosphere that transports diners to an elegant and sophisticated universe, faithful to the identity of Grupo Papúa. The interior design was carried out by Nadia Mateo and Juan Jacobo Muñoz from Mediterráneas Duque.

A grand opening party
As previously mentioned, Novotel Valencia Lavant opened its doors on 3 February, and to celebrate the opening, a big party was held a few months later, on 4 April.
A large blue carpet welcomed guests and led them to the hotel lobby, where a DJ provided the musical entertainment. The freedom to move around the different rooms meant that one surprise followed another. Three curious characters wearing monkey masks playing sports in the gym, cocktail waiters preparing delicious cocktails, small groups playing music in the corridors… To finish off, there was the rooftop, where different food stalls were set up on both the lower and upper levels, with the pool providing an unbeatable backdrop. A DJ and various entertainment groups ensured that the evening was a resounding success.
This establishment, the first Novotel brand hotel in Valencia, offers a wide range of services designed for modern travellers and the local public. The thirteenth of the brand in the Iberian Peninsula, also present in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, Porto, Seville and Malaga, joins the existing network of more than five hundred hotels worldwide.
